This is a lovely, bright space, ideal for relaxing in after active days out - or head out onto the balcony to enjoy watching the world go by. Immerse yourself in this magnificent location, cosy up on the comfortable sofa and relish a little peace and quiet. The well-equipped kitchen area is part of the living space, there is also a toilet upstairs.
Three fabulously presented bedrooms are on the ground floor. The master king size bedroom has loch and mountain views and an en-suite shower room. There are also two twin bedrooms, one with zip and link beds which can be made into a super king size on request, and one with an en-suite shower room. There is a separate bathroom with an over-bath shower and toilet.
Across the road from The Quaich, on the shores of Loch Tay, guests have access to a grassed area and shingle beach, and an added attraction is that the house has fishing rights (in season).
Loch Tay is the largest loch in Perthshire, offering stunning views across its length and breadth. Sailing, canoeing, and boat hire are all available locally, and Highland Safari boat cruises on Loch Tay are available from Kenmore.
For the energetic, there are seven munros within 10 miles, including Ben Lawers (Perthshire’s highest mountain) and Shiehallion. Fearnan sits at one end of the Tummel Forest Park and provides a variety of trails for leisurely walks, mountain biking and pony trekking. For golf lovers there are two courses at Kenmore, and Gleneagles is within driving distance. Glasgow and Edinburgh are within a 2-hour drive.
