Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 8 steps and an unprotected 5ft drop in the garden.. Situated in an elevated position overlooking Poolewe Bay, The Cottage is a single-storey, detached cottage which enjoys magnificent seascape views from its picture windows. All rooms are bright, spacious and beautifully presented. The living room in particular enjoys stunning views across the sea. The bright, contemporary kitchen is very well equipped, with integral units and a dining table for four. There are three good sized bedrooms. The beautifully landscaped gardens are a real treat; enclosed by mature hedging, they are laid out with lawns, shrubs and flower borders. The main garden enjoys superb sea and mountain views and there’s also a secluded garden that’s an ideal spot to relax and unwind. This area of the west coast Highlands is renowned for its wonderful beaches and breath-taking scenery. Wildlife abounds here and otters, seals, whales and a myriad of bird-life can all be seen locally; it is a real birdwatcher’s paradise. The sub-tropical gardens of Inverewe are simply stunning and offer visitors a memorable day out. Due to its temperate climate, which is warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream, there’s an exceptional variety of plants that flourish here. The pretty village of Poolewe has excellent local amenities, all within easy walking distance, including restaurants, cafés, shops, a pub, and there’s even a swimming pool. The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities and places of interest. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
