The Cider Barn is set on the owners’ small holding with pet sheep including rare breed Balwens (Welsh Mountain sheep) and Herdwicks, not forgetting Kevin the Texel. Chickens and ducks can be seen roaming the fields and visitors are welcome to feed the pet sheep and friendly chickens. The Cider Barn has a small garden area with seating and a BBQ with access to the shared garden, the river, and the grounds, if you wish. Leominster is a small market town and offers vintage/bric-and-brac and antique shops a-plenty, just 10 miles away. Ludlow and Hereford are about 40 minutes away by car. There are many other attractions such as the Chase distillery, Monkland Cheese, gin and cider makers, museums, farm shops, art galleries and markets, all within the locality. The Cider Barn is situated in the heart of a farming community with easy access to both Herefordshire and Welsh villages and towns. The nearby road can experience heavier farm traffic at certain times of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant, takeaways 2 miles.
