Situated in the heart of Pontarddulais with all the amenities of the town on your doorstep, Lily Vale Cottage is a tastefully furnished, detached holiday home set within the grounds of the owner’s home. The property provides very comfortable accommodation, and is ideal for exploring the area that offers so much to see and do.
Take a trip to the Brecon Beacons National Park or the Black Mountains for wonderful walking and fantastic scenery. The Vale of Neath is home to some striking waterfalls, hence it is dubbed ‘waterfall country’. For stunning beaches, visit the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can enjoy long stretches of golden sands, clifftop walks and hidden coves. Local attractions include the National Showcaves, the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Gardens. Afan Forest Park is home to five world-class trails for mountain biking enthusiasts, and fun day trips for families can be had at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo or Oakwood Theme Park. The pretty market town of Llandeilo boasts restaurants and bistros, stylish boutiques, antiques and galleries. Swansea has a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops, and Cardiff, the bustling capital city of Wales is well worth a visit, with its castle, museum and Millennium Stadium. Fishing nearby. We loved our stay here. Owners were lovely and friendly. My daughter loved feeding the fish each morning. Lovely garden to sit out in. Close to amenities such as shops, takeouts etc but still very quiet. Good location for exploring the south of Wales. We would stay again.
