We had a very comfortable stay in Meadow Barn. We have stayed in a lot of holiday accommodation over the years and this rates as one of the best.I would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this lovely area of Dorset.
The cottage called Meadow Barn is attached to the house, and surrounded by other renovated farm buildings. It is a quiet complex, and there is no garden as such. Inside it is very comfortable with terracotta tile floors and underfloor heating. The beds are very comfortable and almost everything you could need is provided. We enjoyed a wood fire one night, but otherwise the house is a comfortable temperature, nice and snug. The location is great, really central, about halfway between Dorchester and Wareham. Wool is a workaday village, with no old-time charm, but has a grocery shop, gas station, good cafe, and great butchers. There are good pubs with good food too. The lane where the cottage is located is tucked away about a mile from Wool. It is very quiet and charming..
Can I start with thank you helen
We was blown away with Meadow barn ,what a beautiful place ,when we got there we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of lovely goodies to eat and drink which was so nice after a long drive .
The place is so beautiful inside and out and helen has made it home from home with all the little touches here and there .
Meadow barn is down a very quiet road set back next to a farm it’s surroundings are beautiful and with some great walks right on your doorstep and with Wareham , Lulworth cove ,Durdle door and my favourite Kimmeridge bay all less then a few miles away I cannot recommend Meadow barn high enough 10/10 from us ! .2 little tips for food try the little bakery Willliams for fresh bread and Dorset Apple Cake and the Ship pub for a tasty meal just around the corner from Meadow barn if you like a little walk.
We will be back to Meadow Barn 100%

Great surprise that the property was up to our standards. Everything had been thought of even to laundry bags for dirty washing. Good autumn/winter barn.
