We enjoyed a very pleasurable holiday in Bridge Cottage where the views from the windows were incredible. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had all the equipment needed for our stay. The only minor downside was that there were limited choices for dining out in the evening without driving for quarter of an hour or more.An excellent holiday and I would recommend it to any one who wanted a peaceful and relaxing holiday
We had a wonderful week long stay.
The location is lovely with a burn running next to the cottage, farm animals in the fields and lots of wildlife
Grace and Sandy are very welcoming and friendly.
The house is spotlessly clean with extremely good furnishings, a huge bed and excellent equipment.
Couldn't have asked for more.

Lovely cottage, well appointed, spotlessly clean and spacious.
Lovely cottage, well appointed, spotlessly clean and spacious.Grace was very helpful and checked that everything was in order, and offered some advice places to visit and eat.Was lovely watching the wildlife, many birds, including a pair of herons, the hares an the sheep and cows roaming the hills and fields. The cottage was very well equipped, with the only (minor) blemish being the TV and DVD. TV is not 'smart' so no Netflix etc, and sound quality from the DVD is poor. But I wouldn't let that put you off visiting as the other facilities more than make up.The cottage is well located for visiting the surrounding places of interest such as, Melsrose, Rosslyn Chapel, Abbotsford and of course Thirlstaine Castle in Lauder.
Property fantastic. Owner fantastic Home and Away not good. Booked through Country Cottages but got passed on to them..
Unclear access to final details about arrival and directions and key collection. Phoned Home and Away in the end. Not very helpful so phoned owner and she was first class.
Home and Away should not have been handling it according to the owner and l would not knowingly deal with them again.
