Property was clean & everything that we needed was supplied for an enjoyable stay, we really enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub, would definitely book again.
The property was perfect, with stunning views of the levels. Completely secluded and quiet. Just what we needed. We all loved the hot tub, and the walks in the area. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to completely relax.
Myself and a friend just stayed for the weekend. The lodge was perfect - everything was what we wanted. We had one minor issue which was dealt with faster than expected.
The sites facilities are all excellent and the area you are in is perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better time
Wonderful lodge in a beautiful area of Somerset.
Hot Tub was a huge hit with our 2 Daughters as was the shared outside Pool which was a bonus while we enjoyed the lovely sunshine.
Everything was great and just what our family needed to de-stress and spend some much needed time together. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return in the future.
A lovely 2-bedroom lodge with excellent facilities. Was a perfect base for exploring local area, especially for visit to cider brewery about 20 minutes away. Very clean and with a well-heated and fully functioning hot tub. Well laid out reception and cooking areas and bedrooms and bathrooms very well sized. Would definitely return.
Fab property in lovely location. Handy for exploring Cheddar Gorge & Caves. All amenities you could want with the addition of a great poor.. we visited on a hot weekend in May so this was lovely. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend. The Jones’ xx
Just spent 4 nights in a 2 bed lodge on site at Tor Farm and it was lovely! All facilities we used were lovely, pool very clean and grounds well kept.Only negatives were that decor seemed slightly tired with some broken parts around the lodge that could use some attention which we will make the owners aware of, also it was not as clean as we would have expected (cobwebs around and some toothpaste in the bathroom left from previous residents!) Small things we didn't feel like we needed to bother our hosts with.
Me and my partner had a lovely break at tor farm .
The weather wasn’t good to us but we didn’t let that ruin our trip .
Hot tub was great even in the wind and rain .
Really warm and cosy lodge .
Thanks to Karen for keeping us updated with things and making everything run smoothly 👍
Very enjoyable, quiet peaceful relaxing break which is just what we wanted but just one little thing it would of been nice to have 3 towels each as opposed to just 2 but other than than a very much home from home experience
We had the best time in meadow view lodge it’s one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and we are prettty travelled, everything was high end quality bedding mattress cooking utensils , everything u needed, lodge was immaculate and classy and the hot tub was so beautiful after a long day of walking with our lil puppy Teddy who also loved his first holiday, lodge was in an amazing setting and we even came home with fresh laid eggs , thank you so much for a beautiful holiday in an amazing accomadarion and surroundings
Had a truly amazing time on our recent getaway to bluebell lodge at tor farms. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Friendly communication leading up to our trip, really easy check in and check out, with amazing facilities. Lodge absolutely gorgeous. Hot tub amazing and in fantastic place on decking so that you can watch the sunset from the hot tub if you do desire.
Would be a great touch to offer to sell people bathrobes personalised with lodge name that people could takeaway (only mention as we were stupid and didn't take our bathrobes with us!?).
Great though. Thanks for everything and hope we are able to return sooner rather than later.
Would highly recommend.
The property is surrounded by farmlands, very peaceful. The lodge is clean, we had everything we needed. It is a treat to relax inside the hot tub and watch the moon and stars in the night after a whole day out.
Just what we had hoped for, an ideal quiet scenic relaxing break. Thoroughly recommended

About the host
Hosted by Karen Hansford
Brian and Caroline Ladd, both in their sixties, have lived at Tor Farm for 33 years and originally farmed the land. They have brought up 4 children who all left home and now have 8 grandchildren to enjoy. For the last 24 years they have offered B&B in the farmhouse, but now want to take things a little quieter, and are just offering 9 holiday cottages, so that they can spend more time with their family. Their main interests are gardening, playing bridge and touring Britain in their caravan.
Why they chose this property
We originally bought the land, the holiday cottages now stand on in 1985, when it was a dairy farm. We have farmed for many years until it was no longer viable, and decided to turn the old farm yard, and farm house in to luxury self catering holiday accommodation. We still live on site, so we can welcome new arrivals, and sort out any concerns or problems guests may have.
What makes this property unique
You can enjoy the countryside from your own door step. Private hot tubs to massage away everyday stresses. Car parking close to accommodation. Shared heated swimming pool to exercise in or just relax on the terraces. 4 lodges dog friendly. Walk your dogs down the quiet country lane outside the cottage. Close to Cheddar Gorge, Longleat Safari Park and the coast.
