Quiet location and pet friendliness worked for us.

Quiet location and pet friendliness worked for us. Lodge worn and some items grubby but didn’t bother us as we had dogs and walked a lot. Ground was very sodden. We know the area well and knew what to expect. We love it and explored lots of old haunts as well as visiting family. Being out of season the lodge was very good value and suited us very well. I would not recommend it for some wanting a busy area or somewhere posh. Friendly owner.

We had a great time but we knew the area was very rural but was a long way from a shop etc , very peaceful great for walks with the dogs lodge was great but beds where very hard and a walk in shower would have been better for my mother . Overall great place lots of games and dvd we wanted a quiet holiday and this was great for that Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
