Squirrel View is a lovely cosy and warm cabin, even with the below freezing temperatures outdoors. We didn’t see any squirrels but deer and rooks did visit the garden. It is a good location for access to the Cairngorms with walks from the doorstep.

What a fantastic place to stay, the welcome pack was brilliant didn't expect it but very much appreciated. It is sited in a fantastic place and very quiet apart from the local wildlife some mornings i.e. the sheep eating the grass and the ducks. Also in the garden we're squirrels pheasants and different types of birds. The local village is very nice with all the facilities you need, above the cottage is a local glen where we saw a rushing river and three buzzards. It is located in the right position to see all the local mountains glens lochs. The local osprey centre is fantastic and happy to see an osprey, then to see the raindear. Dolphins at Inverness, salmon at the falls of shin. If I was asked by anyone if it was worth it to stay there I would have no hesitation in saying definitely. To the owners a massive thank you.
