Criccieth is situated on the beautiful southern coast of the LLyn Peninsula, offering some exceptional coastal scenery and sandy beaches. Porthmadog is some 5 miles away, while the proximity of the sea means there is the possibility to enjoy all manner of watersports, fishing, walks or just a paddle! The village offers a good range of amenities, including numerous shops, restaurants and pubs 50 yards away as well as the essential fish and chips and ice cream parlour. There is also a pitch and putt golf course and bowling green nearby. Take a trip on the Ffestiniog Railway or the Welsh Highland Railway or visit the famous village of Portmeirion.
