En Piste Ski to/from the front door, 7 bed chalet, 5 mins to shops / restaurants

Chalet Marmotte is the perfect chalet for those looking for a fun, enjoyable home-away-from-home. It aims to offer all the mod-cons and comforts you have at home, with outstanding views of snow-covered slopes and mountains and the ultimate convenience of being situated directly on the ski slope ‘Clos Du Pres’, so that you can ski in and ski out from the front door. It is only a 2 minute ski or 5 minute walk to the village centre where you will find the main lifts over to Alpes D'huez or Vaujany, as well as good restaurants, bars and the usual variety of ski resort shops.

The chalet has been set up with the main purpose of a relaxing holiday in mind, with an open fire in the living area, UK satellite TV, DVD player and a bluetooth connectable sound system. The kitchen and dining area are well equipped for large group catering and the entrance area is large enough to store everyone's ski gear, so that the living areas remain clutter free and getting en piste is quick and easy from the front door. The chalet is the first en-piste as you climb the steps from the daytime car park and, thus, is well situated to load and off load from the car when you arrive and leave. The living area is at entrance level, with 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms (one ensuite) on the lower level and 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room on the upper level. The lower level bathroom also has a combination washing machine and tumble dryer. Two of the bedrooms are double beds (of which the ensuite is one) and all others are twin, with one bedroom having a bunk bed and two twin beds.

Oz-en-Oisans resort is family friendly, with many easy slopes to learn on and is well placed to enjoy the whole Alpes D’heuz, Montfrais and Vaujany ski area. For the more adventurous skiier, there is the ‘Sarenne’ piste to enjoy, which is the longest black run in Europe! There is a good ESF ski school, a crèche for kids aged 6 months to 5 years old and the tourist office put on many other activities for the kids and families to enjoy every day of the winter and summer seasonal weeks. For non-skiers there are also a variety of other activities, such as swimming, walking and a rock climbing wall within the resort and a free bus running up and down the mountain to the various villages below.
