Forest trails begin almost directly outside this spacious holiday home near Trooz, making it the kind of place where mornings naturally start outdoors and evenings end around the pool or sauna once everyone returns inside. Sleeping up to 19 guests across nine bedrooms, the house combines Ardennes scenery with wellness spaces and recreation rooms designed for lively family gatherings and group stays throughout the year.

Most afternoons drift between hiking routes, terrace lunches, and quieter hours beside the covered indoor pool while evenings settle around the bar, billiards table, and darts room once the forests begin cooling down outside. The atmosphere feels social and easygoing rather than formal, especially with generous communal spaces spread across the property. The surrounding hills also keep the setting peaceful even during larger group stays.

The forest begins just 100 metres away with woodland trails crossing the surrounding valley. Ninglinspo can be reached within roughly 20 minutes and remains one of Belgium’s most beautiful stream hikes, with waterfalls, wooden bridges, and rocky natural pools winding through the forest. La Roche aux Faucons lies around 30 minutes away overlooking a dramatic bend in the Ourthe River, while Liège can be reached within approximately 32 minutes for historic squares, local markets, and the famous Montagne de Bueren staircase. Motorsport fans also often head toward Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps roughly 40 minutes from the property.
