Sorry about the plush sofa. Down cushions are simply like that, feathers may exude from them. Alternative might be detestable "memory foam".

The best thing going for this place is the location. It is small, but that didnt bother us. There is a mold issue in the bathroom, I had to clean it twice and keep the exhaust fan on for a long time after showers.

This cottage is ideally situated with fantastic views of the ocean within walking distance from the beach. It has everything you need for a seemless holiday! I have visited before and I will go back again! It is perfect!

Wonderful little house with an amazing view.

The small house is on a very quite street, perfect location. Wonderful place to relax, or a great place to base out of to explore Plymouth or even Boston. The house has everything that we needed and the beds were comfortable. We were very happy there. Thank you Oscar. We will try to come back soon!

3rd summer

This was our third summer. The only thing that disappointed was the weather but we drove up the Cape and found fun things to do. Plymouth is a beautiful area!

Great place, million dollar View of ocean!

This was one of the cleanest places I have stayed through VRBO! Oscar was very accommodating and leaving lights on for us since arriving later. The view is gorgeous and beach close by. It’s a cottage, so the furniture is just fine. Loved the sectional couch. I wouldn’t have second thoughts renting here. Thank you OB!

Breathtaking views

Oscars home had everything our family of three needed. We had home cooked meals on the back deck overlooking the ocean, with seafood purchased at the end of the road. Our two kitties loved watching the abundant birds and bunnies in the beautifully landscaped yard. The sunsets and sunrises were Gorgeous from the house, including seals! We found walking to either private beach easy and spent time collecting sea glass and swimming. The perfect getaway for us.

Do not hesitate to rent this house!

We spent a glorious few days at this lovely house. The view is to die for. The peace and serenity there, sitting on the porch, the seabreeze kissing my shoulders, the birds trilling away, the beautiful gardens, the seals flubbering about on the rocks, fighting over their spot. All the neighbors are friendly too! Everything you need is close by. Many places to eat, shop or tour if that's your thing. If you are a beach person, White Horse Beach is in walking distance. Something especially nice about this property is the size of the lawn, and the hedges and garage that block neighbors on both sides. When you sit on the deck, soaking in the glorious view, it feels very private. Oh yes and everything you need is in the house and the owner is super too!

House was musty smelling. Couch was a rough material and had feathers constantly falling out. Beautiful view off the wrap around deck. Bathroom was real small with no outlets. No dishwasher. We will not be returning.

Beautiful ocean view

3 of us and our small dog stayed 4 nights in July and did day trips. Ocean view off the back yard is beautiful. Yard was good to stake dog up while we enjoyed the deck and views and sunrises. We saw seals daily. Quiet neighborhood. Driving in/out views of ocean all around and sunset in front of house. Beach right down the street - enter through a public boat ramp to sand. We did evening walks on it. We did a whale watch, chartered a sail boat from Scituate Harbor, and day trips within Plymouth and Hyannis. Experienced what others have said. Wished the basement had a door rather then being open so it would be sealed off from house - but that is a structural component. Oscar was very good to work with.

PEACEFUL....BEAUTIFUL....AWESOME!!!

This property is perfect if you want to get away from the stress of everyday life. The cottage itself is very comfortable with all amenities, and the view of Cape Cod is unsurpassed. I booked during a full moon, and my photos have blown family and friends away! Oscar is the consummate host who made sure we were enjoying our stay, and I highly recommend his property as the perfect place to stay on th Cape. 5 stars +!!!

Another stellar visit

We love this place! This is second visit and it was as great as we remembered. The ocean with the seals and whales and the little beach across the yard offered enough entertainment that you didn't need to leave. The house is perfect for the two of us, everything we need is there. You can walk to White Horse Beach and the Lobster Pound (seasonal).

Perfect Vacation Spot!

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful location, this is the perfect spot! The views from the house are amazing, including spectacular sunrises and sunsets. It was especially nice because we were able to bring our dog with us on our vacation. The beach (which is dog-friendly) is just a short walk away and the house is on a quiet street in a nice, friendly neighborhood. The owner was very attentive and responsive, even checking in with us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. There is a nice grocery store (Clement's) and Dollar Tree about a mile away for groceries, prepared meals and essentials. We had excellent meals from nearby restaurants including 42 North (seafood) and Gerard Farm (barbecue). The Upper Cape and Plymouth are both just a short drive away. The week flew and we were sad to leave, but we are already planning our next visit! Thank you, Mr. Brookins, for sharing your lovely home with us.

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

The view of the bay and the incredible sundowns and sunsets make this location a wonderful choice. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Plus, it is pet friendly. The owner is accommodating and accessible. The local area has great restaurants, and the house is a centralized location.
