Comprising five double rooms (3 of which are en-suite), it can accommodate up to 10 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a living area and fireplace; reading room; barbecue with wood-burning oven and wood-burning stove; sauna (rate not included in reservation); games room; gym and outdoor pool. The bathrooms are equipped with electric towel rails and a hairdryer. Possible to place a crib when necessary. Surrounded by a large garden with lawn and an area of ​​fenced oak and stone pine, you can enjoy the outdoors using the various facilities available, such as tables, a gas barbecue and lounge chairs. Nos alojamos 7 personas en esta vivienda unifamiliar. La casa en general es amplia, estaba muy limpia y la piscina cubierta nos permitió disfrutarla mucho, lo cual fue un gran punto a favor. Sin embargo, creemos que la casa necesita más mantenimiento y atención a los detalles para estar a la altura de lo que podría ser.Alquilamos la casa completa, pero inicialmente nos quisieron cobrar por abrir una habitación, lo cual no estaba indicado en la publicidad. Finalmente no lo hicieron, aunque aun así no tuvimos acceso a toda la vivienda.Durante la estancia encontramos varias carencias: pomos de puertas y cajones rotos, armarios que cerraban mal, contraventanas sin pomo o sin cortinas, lo que restaba intimidad. En la cocina, aunque era amplia, había pocos vasos y las sartenes estaban muy deterioradas. En la zona de barbacoa tampoco había menaje. Algunos extras como las bicicletas estaban rotas y el futbolín bastante deteriorado. No había bombona para la barbacoa de gas ni algo de carbón para la barbacoa. La sauna, además, era de pago.La piscina, aunque muy limpia y disfrutable por estar cubierta, presentaba baldosas levantadas que ocasionaron pequeños incidentes con los niños, y las puertas no cerraban bien.En resumen: la casa tiene un gran potencial y con más mantenimiento y cuidado en los detalles podría ser un alojamiento de 10.

Estadia muito boa!

Éramos um grupo de 10 pessoas. Espaço amplo com imensos quartos espaçosos e com tudo necessário. Churrasqueira com sala de jogos para nós entretermos enquanto cozinhavamos. Para além disso, tem muito espaço exterior com piscina e zonas verdes. Zona calma e com mercados a uns 2/3 minutos de carro. Recomendo!

An honest review from a well traveled family.

Ok so, we’re a family who holiday a fair amount, We also happen to own our own rental properties, including one in Portugal, We’re relatively relaxed in our outlook to things and when staying in other rentals don’t tend to be too judgemental when it comes to the aesthetics, We’re more about the experiences you have whilst being there. That being said… We we’re not aware that on arrival, after what seemed to be a quick head count, that that most of the bedrooms were being locked, my assumption when booking the house was that we have booked the ‘Whole’ house?? When I inquired as to what they were being shut off and locked for - I was told that we needed to pay extra to have them unlocked! Huh? You may ask … why do they need the extra bedrooms? We’re only a family of 4 …. Why not? The whole house is the whole house right? It was more than that though, the bedrooms that were being locked had the best access to the outside patio and games area, the top bedroom has the best views over the countryside? Anyway… we paid to have the bottom opened and it took away from the experience of checking into a new place after a long days travelling. Things like the pool pump not working, door handles being lose, the shower pressure , broken bicycles and ridiculously expensive saunas took away from the experience a bit. Overall though…. , it’s definitely worth the say, we had a good time the kids loved exploring the garden and playing in the games room. Other than a few minor improvements, I think the hosts are on the right track, a 7 out of 10 from us. With a little TLC it’s a good 8 👍

Casa perfeita para o nosso caso. Tinha tudo o que está no anúncio, estava limpa e tinha tudo o que precisámos. Toda a casa era bastante espaçosa (quartos, cozinha, salão d jogos...) A piscina coberta e o grande churrasco interior deram jeito por causa do tempo. A zona era bastante isolada e sossegada, mas relativamente perto do centro de Avelar, que tinha um pequeno supermercado e padaria. No geral tudo impecável, não me importava de repetir.

Absolutamente perfeita

Propriedade fantástica para férias calmas em família. A casa tem todas as comodidades de que precisamos, o espaço exterior é muito bom e a piscina coberta permitiu a sua frequência mesmo nos dias menos solarengos. Todos os nossos contactos com a D. Rosario e a D. Regina foram pautados por inegável disponibilidade, profissionalismo e simpatia, extensíveis também ao Sr José. A zona envolvente é muito calma mas de fáceis acessos, Avelar fica a 1,5 km e tem tudo o que se poderia esperar de um comércio local desde supermercados, farmácias, centro de saúde, padarias talho, etc. Esperamos poder regressar no próximo ano para umas férias igualmente perfeitas.

Entspannter Urlaub in schönem Ambiente

Das Haus und das Grundstück machen einen gepflegten Eindruck. Die Wohnräume sind geschmackvoll und gut ausgestattet. Man findet alles was nötig ist. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind groß und modern gehalten. Schöner und großer Swimmingpool, man ist durch die Verglasung gut vor Wind geschützt. Die Lage auf dem Land ist ruhig,man kann in der Umgebung viel Kultur und Natur genießen.

Un séjour inoubliable

Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans cette maison super bien équipée, décorée avec goût et d’une propreté parfaite. Rosario , la jeune femme qui nous a gentiment accueillie nous a mis très à l’aise en nous donnant des conseils d’excursions. La piscine et la salle de jeux sont des vrais plus. The perfect base for seeing rural Portugal, Tomar and Ponto area. Everything you needed was available with an outbuilding filled with a sauna (extra charge for the electricity), a pool table and even a bread oven. Security is well thought through with an electric gate to subtle lighting around the perimeter of the house and fencing. We will return, it was a pleasure to stay in a most palatial house. WiFi is available in the downstairs area. There are lots of local shops and Intermarche/ Supermarkets in the area. We loved it! 10 out of 10!
