LATINA BRICK (STREET RELATORES )
I am renting out my charming apartment LATINA BRICK in Madrid. This is a fully renovated and newly furnished airy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a brick townhouse. The master bedroom (2 twin beds)has it's own bath while the second bedroom on the other side of the living room has a bath adjacent. It's fully furnished with a high end kitchen and bathrooms, and a washer/drying in the unit (yay!). This is the hottest area of Madrid to live at the moment, the subway is just down the block. This fully furnished apartment features exposed brick and stone walls and high ceilings. The decor is sleek and modern while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming feeling. The First Coolest neighbourhood in the world by TimeOut: "Madrid might be the world’s most exciting capital right now, and Embajadores is its most colourful neighbourhood. This is a place where people from near and far live side by side, cooking up a bustling cultural life. To the north, Plaza Tirso de Molina is the territory of florists by day, and at night fills with young revellers queuing to get into Medias Puri, the city’s club of the moment. To the south are Tabacalera and La Casa Encendida, two huge cultural centres standing like transatlantic vessels run ashore in the middle of the city. You can dine on Indian specialities served atop a flowery oilcloth, or get a divine Moroccan lamb tagine for an absurdly low price. Nightlife and street life, street art and high culture, food and people from across the world: in Embajadores, you’ll find it all. EAT On Sundays when the Rastro market is on, you’ll find Santurce packed in with punters clambering for their share of the bar’s famous sardines. DRINK Relax with a gin and tonic in the legendary Sala Equis, a former adult cinema that’s now a drinking hole. DO Go see a play at the Art Deco theatre El Pavón-Kamikaze, leaving time to have a couple of cold beers in the theatre bar: a buzzing local hangout in its own right. STAY A couple of minutes to the north, Hotel ME Madrid Reina Victoria dominates the local skyline with its illuminated 1920s tower. The view from the rooftop bar is spectacular".

About the host
Hosted by CARMEN

MADRID is the place to be!!!! I am a world traveler who prefers to stay at vacation rental properties because there is nothing more than having a place you can call home. What better way to soak up the local culture than to feel a part of the neighborhood? This is what I extend to my guests when they stay at my place. For those who want to be more than just a tourist passing by, you will find living in LATINA PALACE and LATINA SOL an experience you will never forget.
Why they chose this property
It is a unique property from 1749 fully refurnished on an unbeatable location.
What makes this property unique
There are a huge number of things to do in Madrid, but it is often the famous Madrid shopping streets that lure people into renting Madrid accommodation. The fashion boutiques and local craft shops which adorn the central business district mean that shopping holidays in Madrid are never far from the top of the list for shopping destinations. The huge range of styles and cuisine of Madrid restaurants also helps to keep energy levels high, and fantastic cooking courses lasting between a single session and a whole week can easily be arranged. The medieval centre of Madrid hides many fantastic monuments. Those taking a Madrid weekend break are best staying in accommodation close to the historic centre, as there is so much here that you can fit a huge amount into just a short Madrid city break. The ‘big three’ museums in Madrid, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia, hold famous collections of art, and tourism in Madrid is often centred around the Puerta del Sol right in the city centre.
