Villa Marina Piccola is a lovely Mediterranean-style beachfront villa, situated in front of the wide beach of San Sostene, well known for its crystal clear sea and sugar white sand, where sea turtles nest.

The villa has 2 bedrooms, 4 sleeping facilities, a livingroom with a comfortable fully equipped kitchen, and a shaded terrace with a view over the sea and the magnificent garden, perfect for eating “al fresco”

From the picturesque sunrise over the sea, to the romantic sunset behind the hills, you can relax in total privacy and tranquility, surrounded by nature, admiring the spacious garden full of maritime pines, eucalyptus, citrus and olive trees, as well as a wide variety of other plants, flowers and local birds.

The beach in front of the house offers the comfort of going back and forth from the beach, making it an ideal place for families with children.

This villa is unique not only for the great beauty of its surroundings and its proximity to the beach, but also for the convenience of its location. Beach vacation

My family wanted a week away at the beaches in Calabria. I found the "Piccola Villa" on Vrbo and based on the location and positive reviews I decided to book. I couldn't be happier with the choice I made - the location was absolutely perfect - only steps away from the beautiful beach and several restaurants, and only minutes away from Soverato. I preferred San Sostene as it wasn't as hectic as the more popular Soverato, but as noted, when the kids wanted to head over to Soverato to enjoy the fair or a different beach it was only a short drive. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a beautiful beach vacation. The home owners are also amazing people as well - you will not be disappointed!

Super Ferienhaus direkt am Strand.

Die Unterkunft hat alles gehalten, was sie im Vorfeld auf der Homepage versprochen hat. Die schöne ruhige Lage des Hauses inmitten eines kleinen gepflegten Parks mit altem Baumbestand war top - das Haus war blitz sauber gereinigt - toller sauberer Strand mit glasklarem Wasser in ca. 50m Entfernung - Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, "konnte nicht besser sein." Es war ALLES vorhanden was es für einen entspannenden Urlaub braucht.

Das Haus befindet sich auf einem sehr liebevoll gestalteten Grundstück. Von schattenspendenden Nadenbäumen, über blühenden Hecken und Töpfen bis zu mediterranen Kakteen und Zitronenbäumen, es ist alles dabei. Der Weg zum Strand ist sehr kurz, direkt vor der Anlage: man kann die am Haus bereitgestellten Liegestühle mit Sonnenschirm nutzen, oder ein kleines Stückchen weiter, dies mit einem geringen Kostenbetrag mieten. Die Besitzer des kleinen Hauses sind sehr nett und gastfreundlich.

Perfekt für alle, die Erholung am Meer suchen

Uns hat es in San Sostene wirklich sehr gefallen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft selbst war sauber, hat eine sehr schöne Terrasse, auf der man wunderbar draußen sitzen kann und ist umgeben von einem wunderschönen großen Garten mit Zitronenbäumen. Direkt vor dem Grundstück befindet sich das glasklare Meer und an der Promenade entlang findet man auch viele Möglichkeiten sich etwas zum Essen zu besorgen oder den Abend in einer Strandbar ausklingen zu lassen. Ca. 1-2 km entfernt gibt es auch mehrere Supermärkte. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Traumhaft !

Wer unter wunderschönen Bäumen zwischen zitronen- und Olivenbäumen seine Ruhe haben möchte, wer mal gerade ins glasklare Wasser mit ruhigem Sandstrand hüpfen möchte ist genau richtig. !! Vom Balkon aus kann man durch die Bäume das Meer sehen, das Grundstück ist wie eine Filmkulisse die Eigentümer samt Familie nebenan herrlich aufgeschlossen familiär und freundlich !! Die Umgebung ruhig und ohne Tourismus-Stress! Es ist nichts für Cluburlauber…Wiederholung ist geplant. Im Haus alles da was man benötigt, Badezimmmer ist wie neu, die Ausstattung besser als beschrieben Klimaanlage strandliegen vorhanden in der Umgebung kann man mit dem Auto die Natur und kleine Dörfer erkundigen! Perfekt zum erholen!!Vielen Dank!

An Incredible experience

Our 3 week stay at Villa Marina was wonderful. It is truly a Garden of Eden. The house is spotless, clean and well maintained. The grounds & gardens are meticulously taken care of by a very special family. The gated property sits directly on the beach road and the sunrise over the sea each morning is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Our stay here was an incredible experience. Thank you.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Objekt.

Mein Mann und ich haben in diesem Bungalow eine traumhafte Woche verbracht. Schon der Empfang war sehr herzlich.Dann dieser riesengroße wunderschöne Garten und das Meer gleich vor dem Tor. Den ewig weiten Sandstrand hatten wir fast immer für uns alleine.( September) Die Umgebung ist wunderschön ,man kann ganz hoch hinaus und entdeckt immer noch ein Bergdorf. Nur zwei kleine Anmerkungen muß ich hierzu fügen. 1.man braucht unbedingt ein Auto 2. Das eine Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer. Für uns war es ein Traumurlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder. Fam. Vacanza perfetta

Sono arrivata a Villa Marina Piccola il 4 agosto con mio marito e i miei bambini di 4 e 1 anno. Da subito abbiamo capito che sarebbe stata la vacanza perfetta con noi: villa dotata di ogni comodità, una splendida pineta recintata con giochi per i bambini, doccia esterna dotata di acqua calda e poi la cosa che più ci ha colpito: un mare splendido a soli dieci metri dall'uscita della villa, attraversando la strada, spiaggia libera enorme e pulitissima, mare cristallino. Qualche locale sul lungomare per cenare fuori ma sempre in una situazione di tranquillità e relax inimmaginabili per il mese di agosto. Per non parlare, poi, della gentilezza della signora Maria, che ogni giorno ci faceva trovare sul tavolo, sotto la veranda, qualche primizia del suo orto, e che non ha fatto mai mancare la sua disponibilità seppur nell'assoluta discrezione. Consigliatissima, ci tornerei domani!

Il mare come piace a me

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia (2adulti e 2 bambine) dal 18 al 26 agosto a Villa M. Piccola. Nonostante l'alta stagione, abbiamo trascorso una vacanza al mare rilassante come nn ci capitava da anni in agosto. La villetta è una soluzione indipendente immersa nella tranquillità di uno splendido giardino. Abbiamo apprezzato in particolare gli spazi esterni, dalla ampia veranda alla doccia esterna (anche calda). La spiaggia dista meno di 10 m dal cancello della proprietà. Attraversi la Via Lungomare e ti ritrovi in uno dei tratti di costa più belli della Calabria ionica. All’interno la villetta è dotata di ogni comfort e curata nei particolari, rivelando una grande attenzione dei proprietari per i loro ospiti. Torneremo sicuramente!

Il mare a due passi con tutti i confort

Struttura indipendente all'interno di residenza chiusa da recinzioni e con giardino e frutteto. Giardino curato, a disposizione anche garage e doccia esterna. Casa arredata con gusto e con finiture ricercate, confort ottimale dagli allestimenti tra cui anche lavastoviglie. Proprietà disponibile e mai invasiva, parca di consigli e indicazioni. Letti confortevoli, cosa mai scontata. A disposizione anche sdrai, lettini e ombrellone. Cosa si vuole di più?

Immersi nel silenzio

Villa marina piccola è davvero molto accogliente, si trova all'interno di una proprietà molto ben curata e la tranquillità la fa da padrona. All'interno ha tutto il necessario o quasi ( penso infatti che una TV non farebbe affatto male ). La spiaggia è davvero sotto casa , basta attraversare una piccola stradina e si è sulla sabbia il che rende questa casa ancor piu appetibile per chiunque vuol fare una vacanza evitando lo stress di dover prendere sempre l'auto per raggiungere il mare, trovare parcheggio etc... Credo sia utile anche sapere che avvicinandosi al mare dopo la sabbia si trova una "lingua" di ciottoli che diventano piu piccoli sul bagnasciuga e di nuovo grandicelli per i primi metri in acqua, quindi sono consigliabili scarpette di gomma.

Wunderschön und so nahe zum Strand

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub am Ionischen Meer. Strand war nah. Das Haus hat gepasst. Und in dem Garten um das Haus gab es viel für die Kinder zu entdecken. Gute Restaurants gab es am Strand in Laufweite. Wichtig ist ein Auto zu haben. Zum Einkaufen etc.

Better than the pictures - better than I dreamed

The Villa Piccola was cozy, but clean and nicely appointed - Washing machine, dishwasher, and coffee pot used regularly. The house is located in Paradise - beautiful estate, abundant with fruit trees and flowers. Beach is right across the street and a little of the beaten path. So while can get busy, never too many people - even in August - high season. Maria and her family are especially warm, welcoming and most helpful and accommodating needs and requests. Very respondive. Even helped arrange a guide for trekking in Bivongi. Would love to return here.

Natur pur

Eine sehr schöne Woche verbrachten wir in der Villa Marina Piccola. Der Garten vor, und die Oliven, Wein und Zitrusplantage hinter dem Haus waren überwältigend. So viel Platz für 2 Personen hatten wir noch nie. Das Gelände ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Die Spielmöglichkeiten sind zahllos. Die kleine Villa ist gut eingerichtet, das Bad frisch renoviert und in der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Der Sitzplatz auf der Veranda ist gemütlich. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir wurden mit guten Tips versorgt. Besonders zu empfehlen das Restaurant Paradies in 1km Entfernung. Schön wäre es, wenn in der Küche noch ein Tisch mit Stühlen stehen würde. Dann muss man bei schlechterem Wetter nicht das Verandamöbel hereinholen. Vorbildlich sind die gut funktionierenden Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, aber auch auf der Veranda sind wir nicht von Moskitos aufgefressen worden. In der Beschreibung der Villa ist Internetanschluss angegeben. Das stimmt für die kleine Villa nicht. Auch die Bilder in der Beschreibung gehen zwischen großer und kleiner Villa durcheinander. Hier sollte man besser trennen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und können die Villa Marina nur weiterempfehlen.
