Beautiful Lake House in County Park

Enjoy your stay at the Yahr House with a view of Erler Lake!

The Yahr House is located in Leonard J. Yahr County Park. All of the county park amenities are available to Yahr House occupants. Enjoy Erler Lake and the public beach area. Trails are available for all seasons. Children will have fun on both playground areas located very near the Yahr House.

The Yahr house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 1 bedroom and bathroom is located on the main level and does not require stairs. It has a eat in kitchen with all the amenities and cooking necessities. There is a washer and dryer available in the house! The yard is spacious and includes a firepit and picnic tables. The living space includes two couches, a TV, and Board games and activities for kids.

A fire pit is provided in the backyard along with many picnic tables and ample room for backyard activities. Large parking area offers ample room for cars, trucks and snowmobiles during your stay.

The house provided a nice space to hang out with family. The beds were very comfortable and the park was beautiful. The house was clean in the most important ways, but could use a deep cleaning that gets baseboards and removes cobwebs from corners. The property manager was very responsive and quick to provide extra pillows which were greatly appreciated. The listing showed a washing machine which wasn’t working.

Wonderful place to stay

The home is cozy and spacious. It is in a park so the kids went fishing and walked the paths. It was still cold out so we didn’t use the beautiful beach area. Lake is very clear. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice house in a county park. Setting was beautiful and quiet. We fished from the dock and with our fishing kayaks. One of our family members uses a wheelchair. Ramp entry and accessible 1st floor bathroom with grab bars and shower seat appreciated.

Beautiful Lake House

Beautiful, spacious ranger house overlooking the lake in a county park. Tons of room to spread out, big bedrooms and 2 full baths - a must have with 4 adults and a couple of teenagers! The park is well maintained - even in winter/spring. And the sunrise was gorgeous. Check in was super easy. We cant wait to come back and stay during the summer!

This property was perfect for our stay. Lots of room for everyone, huge space for the kids to run, close to the beach and walking trails. We were able to grill out with friends and utilize all the picnic tables and outdoor space. Property was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was absolutely wonderful. It had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Clean towels for showers and clean beds made up like you were at a hotel. Will definitely rent again.

Spartan provisions. We had to buy paper towels (only 1/3 roll on holder, no others), dish clothes (there was one), coffee filters (none provided - we left the ones we bought), and dish towels (there was none). While it slept 10, there were 9 forks. Inadequate number of glassware and silverware. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great. Rooms spacious. Most games were only partially there. No chairs to sit on outside, altho there was a lovely glass outdoor table. Twice strangers enter our cabin thinking it was a public building.

Had a great weekend exploring the park, West Bend, and Lake Michigan. The Yahr House was just the right size for our family of ten. Could have used a few additional kitchen linens and washcloths to go with the towels. Thank you for a great place to stay!
