A colorful kitchen offers all the major appliances (minus a dishwasher) you'd expect, so vacation meals will be a snap to prepare. There's a two-person table right by the sunny window or take your plates outside and dine al fresco on the semi-private patio. The bathroom has details like wainscoting and gleaming floors, as well as a spacious walk-in shower. You'll also have a private washer and dryer for keeping your vacation clothes looking their best.

On the property of a larger home, this separate and private getaway is located in a quiet neighborhood, within half a mile of Caspar Beach. The village of Mendocino proper is about four miles to the south, while bustling Fort Bragg is under an eight-mile drive north. Walk to Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park or plan a meal out at Cafe Beaujolais in downtown Mendocino. Visit the often photographed Glass Beach in Fort Bragg and then stop by North Coast Brewing Company for a pint of Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. This great location offers nearby access to both rocky and sandy beaches, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens (five miles north), galleries and eateries in town and conveniences like grocery and drug stores in Fort Bragg.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
