Thank you! We too enjoy the porch.. such a nice way to either start and/or end your day! It is amazing how quiet the neighborhood is, but how close you are to so many things to do and see. A nice place to chill out!
We hope to be able to welcome you back again.
Great cabin, more like a home away from home. Good communication with host & Vrbo. Will highly recommend repeat. Everything needed to make this visit memorable. Thank you Marci.

Unfortunately the grass had not been cut in the backyard. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. And, that you found the cabin close to the wedding venue. We hope to be able to welcome you back again.
Everything was good. Lots of rules for cleaning the dishes and taking out the trash. Very spacious and much nicer than the pictures showed. Driveway is a little steep and gets slick with some snow. Would stay again!
This cabin was amazing. So well stocked with cooking items (and believe me, we've had some very skinny equipted places in the past. It was adorable, thoughtfully decorated and organized - just brilliant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the peace and quiet. We are always amazed at how close we are to so many great places to visit, such as Gettysburg and both state and national parks. We look forward to welcoming you back again
This is a charming cabin, very well kept up and well stocked. The porch and backyard are excellent and the stay was very nice. It is a little drive from the happenings of Gettysburg although we knew that in advance and chose this. The quiet and space are well worth it. That said, we were awakened early Sat morning with a bunch of tree cutting that was VERY loud. Not the host's fault, but maybe check on if anything is scheduled for when you stay. It was very disruptive to sleep an not sure if it was the township or a private person. As far as this cabin for a destination, we were very pleasantly surprised at the care taken of the property and the comfort we were afforded. Highly recommend.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay... despite the township taking down trees on Saturday morning. They were conducting maintenance along the tree line to protect the power lines during rain and snow storms.
The cabin is about 20 minutes from Gettysburg, and we too enjoy the ability to visit as well as the peace and quiet that the cabin provides. The porches are wonderful places to sit and enjoy coffee or what ever beverage you may choose.
Thank you for your kind words regarding our cabin. We take great effort to provide a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
We look forward to welcoming you back again.
Thank you... glad to hear that you would stay again! Hope to be able to welcome you back soon!
About the host

We built our cabin in 2016 on land that had been in our family for over 60 years. Native to the DC area, our family decided to build a property close by that allows us to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Avid kayakers, we have explored the area and discovered many gems on which to paddle! We love to hike, bike and ski when we are staying on Raven Trail. We would love to share our adventures with you so please contact us if you too are kayakers, bikers, skiers or hikers!
Why they chose this property
The land on which we built was originally purchased by my husband's father in the 1960's as a place to go during the Cold War! After being so long in the family, we decided to build a cabin so that we have a place to go to relax and rejuvenate. All the cabin artwork was created by my husband's brother who suddenly passed away in 2013. We wanted to provide a home for his artwork. Our cabin is actually built in his honor and memory. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy the area.
