This place was absolutely wonderful. We were in town for a rehearsal dinner and wedding, perfect spot to come back to wind down from all the festivities... close enough to town for anything you need, but far enough outside your not in all the hubbub of the tourists.

Great getaway cabin everything we were hoping for!!! We enjoy relaxing in the sunroom and watching the wildlife and the quiet creek. The cabin was close to the town of Gettysburg and even closer to the battlefield. Everything we needed was available and gave a very relaxing short vacation. The owners were great to work with and we are looking forward to a return visit. Thank you for everything.

This cabin has such a beautiful view of the creek. The hosts were excellent and responsive. It was stocked with everything we could’ve needed. Distance to town was perfect. It was such a beautiful time of year. Absolutely loved this stay with a great host!

This cottage exceeded all our expectations. Super cozy. Very clean. The views of the creek and wildlife from the sun porch were wonderful. Enjoyed a campfire and made use of the grill. Appreciated all the extra amenities that were provided. Check in/out and communications with host were very easy. Will stay here again next year.

The home was absolutely stunning and easy to get to. Fantastic views and very cozy. The check in process and communication was excellent. Every question I had was answered the same day. The home was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The residence is extremely local to a fair amount of activities, restaurants, and historic tours; while remaining far enough away to where you feel like you’re in a private space. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a serene, quiet, and beautiful getaway.

What an absolute gem sitting on Marsh Creek in historic Gettysburg. The accommodations were very comfortable. Sitting beside a small campfire after playing some horseshoes with my brother brings back great childhood memories. Very close to Historic Sachs Bridge, the Eisenhower Farm, the Battlefield, and Downtown Gettysburg. Great restaurants nearby, we enjoyed O'Rourkes in town, and Glory Ridge Tavern which is slightly out of town but not far at all and worth the extra 10-minute drive. We will book again as long as it is available. Thanks!

The Marsh Creek Cabin was wonderful! We stayed a week, and could have stayed longer. Carrie was quick to respond to our questions & requests, and her dad rescued us when we locked ourselves out of our car and the cabin- in less than ten minutes! We loved the room overlooking the creek, as well as the screened in porch. We enjoyed nature plus on the water and were so close to all the Gettysburg historic sites we wanted to see again. The weather was so warm for us Seattleites, we enjoyed all the coolness and peace of the Marsh Creek Cabin. We would not hesitate to recommend it to others visiting the area. Best cozy spot with water & nature around! The Raffertys, Seattle, WA

This place is a hidden gem! It is so close to all of the Gettysburg battlefields. My family and I absolutely loved the cabin/cottage feels. It was clean and homie. Loved walking along the creek/crick. It was so beautiful surrounded by nature. Very peaceful and quiet.

The property is cute and enchanting. Tucked back into the woods along the beautiful Marsh Creek, there is the cottage surrounded by nature. The outdoor patio and screened in porch were our favorite spots to hang out and watch the wildlife on the creek.

Love the scenic creek location. Old trees, babbling water, we even saw mallard ducks. Many birds flying about. We spotted a pair of does in the woods. The cabin is wonderfully rustic while also being convenient. Range, fridge, microwave so you can cook from fresh or reheat what you didn't finish at the restaurant. A toaster/toaster oven would be a plus. The pots and pans work. Stainless steel, which withstands new cooks better, would be welcome. The kitchen island is perfect with bar stools to eat there or eat at the table in the corner. The living room is comfy and welcoming. Even better is the enclosed porch with plush rocker and recliner and 2 huge picture windows overlooking the creek. Exit the enclosed porch to the screened porch screened in on 2 sides and with plenty of seating. The larger bedroom is sunny and has a ceiling fan. Huge closet in both bedrooms. The smaller bedroom is darker because it shares a wall with the screened in porch. Be careful with that window facing the porch - it won't stay up. The beds are super comfortable. The bathroom is roomy, except for the shower stall. Brand new shower enclosure that needs a hand held shower head for maximum comfort. A washer and dryer right around the corner from the kitchen. The outdoor lighting is so well designed and attractive. Terrace with brand new gas grill. Lower outdoor level at creekside with seating and fire pit AND horseshoe pit. Plenty of parking. Gracious hosts. Go. You'll love it here.

we had four trackers meeting in gettysburg. this cottage was perfect for us. it was quiet and peaceful. it is right along the creek. i would have walked in the creek however it rained both days we were there. we loved this cottage. there were so many places we could sit and visit with each other. the careened in porch was perfect to enjoy the outside and be out of the rain. the living room was comfy for us to watch a dvd together. we had friends come over to enjoy a meal with us. they loved it too!!! it was so nice to be so close to Aspire venue and yet in the woods and away from road noise. when our group is 4, we will definitely stay here again.
