Villa Ag. Georgios is one of the two brand new Margaritas Villas with superior design and construction quality nestled among olive groves in Margarites village. The villas are on a private hill and they offer a mix of modern amenities and natural environment with tremendous views of Cretan sea and surrounding mountains.


Margarites Villas consists of two autonomous villas. Villa Agios Georgios is one of Margarites Villas, nestled among olive groves in the picturesque village of Margarites. The Villa is 135 m2 and is located in a 1,200 m2 fenced area, offering a mix of amenities in a beautiful natural environment, with tremendous views of Cretan sea and surrounding mountains. The villa also combines a peaceful atmosphere and modern amenities for restful holidays, perfect for families with children or a group of friends! Enjoy tranquillity and comfort in this exquisite and unique villa.


Villa Agios Georgios provides a relaxing retreat with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and its outdoor area has a private heated swimming pool, gas barbecue, and dining table. Furnished in minimal, yet cosy style, the two-storey villa can accommodate 6 guests in its 3 bedrooms and up to 7 people if needed.


Indoor layout
Ground Floor
Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room and fully equipped kitchen with an indoor dining area. The living are features a large sofa, fireplace, a 43" smart TV, home cinema and a red leather massage chair. It also opens up to a veranda with sitting area which leads to the pool area. The ground floor also hosts a bathroom with bath and shower and a washing machine.


First Floor
Reaching the first floor through a staircase, there are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The first bedroom has a King-size bed (1,60x2,00), an en-suite bathroom with a shower and balcony. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (0,90x2,00), an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a balcony. The third bedroom has 2 single beds (0,90x2,00), an en-suite bathroom with shower and a window. The beds can be joined as a Queen-sized bed upon request if needed. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning, a closet, and a 28" smart TV.


Outdoor area
The beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the villa offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation. More specifically our outdoor facilities include:
- 35 sq. m private swimming pool. The pool can be heated at an additional cost per day (please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice).
- Under an impressive wooden pergola guests will find a gas BBQ and outdoor dining area for 6 guests, as well as a 52 smart TV.
- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas, and chairs) for relaxing in the garden
- Free parking space for up to 2 cars
- Finally, the owners have a private, deer park behind the Villas, in a fenced area, where you can admire and get in touch with these beautiful animals and feel closer to nature!

Beautiful villa

Stayed for a week may 25 , with family, fantastic villa in a lovely quite area surrounded by olive trees , overlooking the countryside towards Rethymno. Villa is spotless clean , with everything that is needed , pool & outside area are fantastic with covered seating area with TV . Host Kiriaki is very helpful, nothing is to much trouble, thank you we had a lovely visit

I can’t recommend this villa more. It is exactly as pictured. It was stunning and very clean and tidy. We were met on arrival and given a tour of the house. Cleaners came twice whilst we were there and were very friendly. It is located not far from the picturesque village of Margarites. You will need a car if you would like to go out and about. It was so peaceful and quiet there. I would definitely return.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa war wunderbar. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von den Besitzern herzlichst empfangen. Sie zeigten uns das Haus und hatten dann sogar noch Lebensmittel fĂŒr den ersten Tag bereitgestellt. Auch ein riesiger Obstkorb stand zur VerfĂŒgung. Die Putzdame kam alle 3 Tage reinigte das ganze Haus und wechselte die BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher. Der Garten war wunderbar gepflegt und sauber. Hinter dem Haus waren Rehe. Diese wurden von unseren Kindern fast tĂ€glich besucht und mit Karotten gefĂŒttert. Auch die Taverne von den Besitzern (Mantalos) in Margarites haben wir regelmĂ€ĂŸig besucht. Sehr leckeres Essen und ein schöner Blick in das Tal bis zum Meer! Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Villa wirklich in vollen ZĂŒgen genossen und werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Herrliches Ferienhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage

Das Ferienhaus liegt neben seinem Zwilling etwa zwei Kilometer außerhalb von Margarites. Es hat einen wunderschönen Blick zum Meer. Im sehr gepflegten Garten mit Palmen, ZitrusfrĂŒchten und Eibisch liegt der Pool mit seinem angewĂ€rmten Wasser. Haus und Garten werden regelmĂ€ĂŸig gereinigt. Die KĂŒchenausstattung entspricht den Anforderungen. Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern ist sehr angenehm und Ă€ußerst freundlich.

Central in Crete. Very nice villa. Cleaning and pool/garden maintenance twice a week.

TrĂšs bon accueil, trĂšs jolie villa avec une trĂšs belle vue. Piscine chaude. On a pied partout (adultes). Resto Ă  proximitĂ© dans le resto de famille de la personne qui s’occupe de la maison. Nettoyage intĂ©rieur et extĂ©rieur deux fois par semaine. PossibilitĂ© de donner Ă  manger Ă  des daims tous les soirs en prenant l’apĂ©ro. Tolle Unterkunft- gerne wieder

Die Villa war genau wie beschrieben, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Die Rehe im angrenzenden Gehege waren das Highlight fĂŒr unsere Kinder. Die EigentĂŒmer sind sehr sympathisch und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant der Eltern ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Wunderbarer Herbsturlaub

Wir hatten sehr schöne und erholsame Tage in dem modernen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Innen und außen ist alles sehr sauber, modern und gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind ebenso freundlich wie professionell. WĂ€hrend unserer 10 Tage Aufenthalt wurde dreimal gereinigt, was sicherlich nicht selbstverstĂ€ndlich ist. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut und bietet Gelegenheit fĂŒr viele AusflĂŒge. Wir danken den Vermietern und können das Haus in jeder Hinsicht weiterempfehlen.

Super Finka mit viele Ruhe

Die Finka war in einem super Zustand auch kleine Probleme (Beleuchtung vom Pool hat sich nachts nicht automatisch angeschaltet) wurde direkt beantwortet und wollte von der Agentur direkt nachts noch Repariert werden also große Lob an die Schnelligkeit und VerfĂŒgbarkeit. Die Finka liegt abgelegen und man hat nur eine Baugleiche Nachbar Finka zu der nĂ€chstens grĂ¶ĂŸeren Stadt (Rethymo) sind es nur knapp 30 Minuten mit dem Auto

Schöne Villa mit Ausblick in den Bergen sĂŒdlich von Rythmo an der NordkĂŒste

Die Villa (2 zusamennhÀngende Villen aber trotzdem freistehend) hat einen beheizbaren Pool, tolle Beleuchtung am Abend und einen sehr netten und freundlichen Service zu bieten. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben eine eigenen Taverne in Magerites, tolles Essen und super Ausblick dort, Tisch vorher reservieren. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub dort.

Traumhafte Villa

Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern einen wundervollen Urlaub in der Villa. Eigentlich war alles perfekt, das Haus ist super eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet und sehr sauber. WĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes wurde mehrfach gereinigt und es gab immer saubere HandtĂŒcher. Das Highlight ist der tolle, sehr gepflegte Außenbereich mit beheizbarem Pool und vielen Spielmöglichkeiten fĂŒr die Kinder. Die Villa ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf Meer und Berge. Einen großen Dank an die Vermieter, die super gastfreundlich und immer erreichbar waren sowie die tolle Agentur, die sich um wirklich alles gekĂŒmmert hat und uns vor und wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes super betreut hat und jederzeit erreichbar war. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Excellent stay at this villa for 2 weeks in August 2020. The owners are very helpful and friendly and did everything they could for us, including buying some groceries for us before we arrived. The villa is immaculate with cleaning staff and the pool and garden are well maintained. Lovely peaceful and private location with superb views and stunning scenery. The concierge service provided by Etouri is also excellent and they cater for your every need. This is hospitality at its finest - do not have any reservations about booking this villa it is fantastic.

VĂ©ritable havre de paix

Pour commencer un grand merci à Mike et à sa femme pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. La maison est totalement conforme à la description et aux photos de l'annonce, l'espace intérieur est fonctionnel et trÚs bien entretenu et que dire de l'exterieur qui est exeptionnel avec son beau et grand jardin arboré de deux magnifiques oliviers, sa belle piscine offrant une vue imprenable sur les montagnes,la mer, et les champs d'oliviers, cadre idyllique au calme et à 20 minutes de RETHYMNON, je vous conseille le Restaurant Mantalos situé à 3 minutes de voiture dans la ville de Margarites, plats traditionnels Cretois pour un prix defiant toute concurrence , vous pourrez trouver tout ce dont vous aurez besoin à Perama (boucher, poissonnier, boulangerie, petit Hypermarché). Allez y les yeux fermés!

Beautiful house, friendly owners

We had a great holiday at Villa Ag. Georgios. The villa itself is new and spotless. The beds were hard, but comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied. Not a lot of pots and pans, but the quality is good and we cooked several meals ourselves. The garden of the house is great. Everything is beautifully maintained and the views are amazing. We absolutely loved the pool. As the weather was cool, we had it heated and the water was about 30 degrees, so swimming was a bless. The Margarites Villas are located very privately, so it was quiet in the gardens. You do need a car though, because the nearest village is over 2 kilometers away. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. They welcomed us personally and provided us with a great welcoming package, including juice, milk, wine, toast en fruits. They were very accessable when we had any questions. They made us feel very much at home. So, no critical notes at all? Well, our main issue was that the hot water in the house was exclusively solar heated. As the weather was clouded the last few days, that meant we did not have any hot water left. The owners are aware of this now and said they would try to find a solution for the future. For us, it meant we were extra happy with the hot pool... A second concern might be that the two Margarites Villa's are very close to one another and the upper balconies look out over both pools. The other villa was not occupied when we were there, so we cannot say how much it will affect your privacy if you have neighbours, but we were glad we were alone
 All in all, despite the two (minor) critical remarks, we can definitely recommend this villa and hope to return someday ourselves!

Prachtige accommodatie met vriendelijke hosts

Wij werden bij aankomst heel hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenares en haar echtgenoot. Alles was kraaknet en tiptop in orde. De villa is nieuw en voorzien van alle confort, en dit in uitstekende staat. Het zicht op de omgeving is prachtig en rustgevend. Ook de tuin was heel netjes onderhouden, en aangenaam om te vertoeven. Een zalig zwembad, en de gasbarbecue is een aanrader om te gebruiken. In de omgeving is er voldoende te bezoeken, alhoewel het soms wel wat rijden is. Ideaal voor rust, iets minder als je heel kort bij bezienswaardigheden of restaurants wil zijn. De eigenares verraste ons met taart en wijn, en geen enkele vraag was teveel. We werden op de laatste dag even hartelijk begroet als in het begin. Kortom, wij raden iedereen die van rust en comfort houdt deze villa aan.

A stunning haven of peace and tranquility

Just returned from a wonderful two week holiday at villa Ag Georgios. The villa is finished to the highest of standards and the garden is truely spectacular. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who presented us with one of the best welcome packs we had ever had. Over the course of the holiday they continued to be attentive without being intrusive and nothing was too much trouble for them. We also enjoyed eating in the family taverna in Margarites village and were made equally welcome here. The villa is somewhat secluded but has the most amazing views and is a perfect haven of peace and tranquility. There are plenty of places to eat within a 15minute drive and the nearest beach is the same. We enjoyed all of the villas facilities but were bowled over by the garden and the spectacular lighting in the evening which made the whole place even more beautiful. Great to sit out, watch the sunset and then wait for the magic to happen! If you want to get away from it all and don’t mind driving to eat out then we would highly recommend this villa.
