About this property

Old Town Loft, Perfect for Traveling Workers

This apartment is rented to guests that have a need to stay in Eureka for longer they 30 nights. Many of our guests are professionals coming to Eureka to work on contracts of 30 days to 6 months.
This apartment is located in one of Eureka’s historic buildings in Old Town. The apartment was recently upgraded with a new kitchen and bathroom. The living room has great natural light and looks out to a limited view of Humboldt Bay. In the living room you will find comfortable club chair and a couch for viewing TV or working on a puzzle on the dining table. The bed area has a queen sized bed. The bathroom has a shower/tub. The rental has a full kitchen including a full size range, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The building has a coin-op washer/dryer for laundry needs just steps from the apartment. The overall size of the apartment is 500 square feet making it a great space for 1 or 2 people. Included in the unit are WiFi and cable television. This unit is located on the second floor and is a walk-up.
I have owned this building since 1966 and remodeled all the units, I have 2 long term tenant in the building, the other 3 apartments are VRBO's.
Eureka is a city of almost 30,000 located on the north pacific coast of California. We have an active arts community with a monthly Arts Alive Night on the first Saturday of each month in Old Town, there are also many local art galleries for viewing or purchasing art. Humboldt State University has its own gallery in Old Town on 3rd Street with student and faculty exhibits and out of the area artist shows. There is a wide variety of restaurants to be found in Eureka and we would be happy to give you some ideas of how to choose your meals out. In Henderson Center there is a great local bakery for morning pastries and coffee drinks. Humboldt County has a bounty of outdoor activities to be enjoyed at our local beaches and forest areas.
Eureka is a 4 hour and 45 minute drive north of San Francisco and 120 miles west of Redding. Whether you want to escape the urban population of the Bay Area or the heat of Redding, Eureka is a great choice.

Perfect Spot for Traveling Healthcare Worker
I have been here for about two months while working at the local hospital. The owner has been responsive and made everything convenient during the stay.

Perfect location!
As a night shift nurse this place was fantastic for coming home and being able to walk to multiple coffee shops for fresh pastry, and also los bagels! On my off days there are so many great restaurants and bars all within walking distance as well! Also it's very nice to go for a run in the mornings downtown along the harbor! My favorite thing was being able to open the big windows and let the music of downtown come in while I was cooking dinner!
