Born and raised here, my roots extend deep into the heart of Humboldt, where I attended elementary school, high school, and even a bit of college. In addition to my ties to the local educational institutions, my 35-year career in commercial painting has strengthened my relationship with this region. My company has not only helped shape the landscape of our community over the past three decades but also has allowed me to meet and collaborate with an array of wonderful people and businesses. For the past seven years, I've expanded my community involvement by becoming a VRBO host, catering especially to professionals visiting our region. The joy of providing a comfortable and welcoming space for guests, a home away from home, has been deeply fulfilling. My love for the local community extends to the realm of sports. I have been actively engaged with the baseball and softball community here, supporting youth sports all the way up to collegiate sports. This includes my donations to local institutions such as Humboldt State, St. Bernard's Academy, and Eureka High School. On a more personal note, I am happily married and a proud father to three children. Two are going through college while our youngest navigates high school. When I'm not hosting, working, or spending quality time with my family, you might find me enjoying the incredible natural beauty of our region through ocean fishing—one of my cherished hobbies.
