Sanctuary Bush To Beach House

dec 30 to jan 5 available due to a cancellation! hello please note: we supply linen to the king bed and towels washed on hot cycle. we do not supply for other beds. please bring towels and sheets only for other beds..all else there! My Wonderful beach house I built with new and recycled timbers located in the bush on an estuary with own path to the beach- either walk through beautiful rainforest and over estuary bridge to the beach or drive to the town beaches in 8 minutes. Timber ceilings and floors, great big cover verandah to watch birds and wildlife under 1x8 metre lounge room with plenty of lounges, a huge lopi wood fire, a large dining table, tv and dvd, stereo, and a desk for computers, etc. with a monitor to plug your notebook into. Private, peaceful and very spacious this house has plenty of regulars staying so we are confident you will enjoy it too.

Very Spacious 1,Well equipped new kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove, electric oven, and appliances such as juicer, rice maker, slow cooker, etc.
3 bedrooms: main bedroom is 8.5x4 metres with a king bed and separate lounge area with second TV and DVD. Second has s queen bed and third has two singles. maximum 5 adults- or 6 people if kids are included. 2 bathrooms one with large bath tub and separate toilet-second has shower with toilet. Separate laundry with washer and dryer,
Verandah is 25 Metres long with lounge areas, a dining table, a table for breakfast by the main room and a reclining couch. Weber bbq,
linen is included on the king bed for couple, extra $25 for second couple but encourage you to bring your own if possible.

The front and back of the house is cleared 30 metres around the house. There is a 6x6 metre carport for cars. You can walk to the beach right from the path starting at the house- or walk thru the woods.
this is is a quiet sanctuary for people who want a quiet restul holiday. its not for noise or parties of any type..more for meditation!
This part of North Coast is full of great things to see and do- several surfing spots to walk and drive to, 3 ks drive to the town and 1 hour walk south along 4 beaches to nambucca jetty from the house. Other attractions include Bellingen and the Promised Land, 1/2 hour, Dorrigo National Rainforest, 50min and tons more. I guarantee you will feel like a different person after a holiday here.

Great getaway location

Coastal Christmas

We had a lovely stay at this property over Christmas. The location was absolutely perfect for us. We really enjoyed the house as it was full of art and interesting pieces. We had everything we needed and more. Loved the peace and tranquillity. The deck was huge and fantastic to relax and listen to the waves. We saw kingfishers and tiny superb fairy wrens in the garden. We’d definitely love to stay again.

Peaceful nature retreat

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. It was perfect for us - quiet, very spacious with lots of different areas for spending time together and time apart. An added bonus - all on one level, so perfect for our senior mums who we were treating to a holiday after over 50 years of friendship. Wonderfully creative decor and lots of ocean art. Absolutely everything you need there, and high quality kitchen tools. A very special place.

Very relaxing

The house was just as I expected from the photos & description - great for us & the dogs even thou there is no yard fencing. It was raining most of the time so the leeches were around but the balcony was the perfect place to read a book or just looking at the trees & enjoying the weather without getting wet.

Great Home for a Family Holiday

We had a relaxing week staying at Sanctuary Bush. This eclectic, artsy house perfectly accommodates a large family and pets. The rooms are a good size with plenty of beds to choose from. The large surround deck is great to relax, eat and bbq on. The kitchen has everything you need if cooking in. It's only a 5 minute walk along a bush track (rear of the house heading left) to the beach which was fantastic to take our dog to everyday. Aeroguard is a must though. The location to other beaches and Nambucca River is brilliant!

great location

the house is in a lovely location backing on to bushland. all you hear is the sound of waves breaking on the shore as the house is close to the beach. The track to the beach could have been abit better to walk through though. It had a spa bath but unfortunately the spa didn't work. overall a nice place to stay to unwind and feel that you have had a holiday. thanks

Unfortunately the recent heavy rains appeared, so we only got 1.5 days of fine weather. Left early to avoid the floods. Huge home, plenty of space and there's everything here you'd ever need! Longer walk to the beach than I thought and might be a bit tricky for littluns through the windy up and down hill bush trek before you get to the bridge you see in the photos. Dog friendly beach and you mostly have it to yourself. Unpatrolled though. Nambucca's about a 7 minute drive for all your shopping, etc.

We really loved this rustic house, very large with a beautiful balcony overlooking the bush. Everything you need to for a relaxing holiday. Walking distance to the beach but very quiet and secluded. Fantastic that it is pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
