Our family's home away from home in the tropics
The two queen bedrooms have built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space and both have balconies. The middle room is smaller with a hanging rack and two king singles that convert to a king bed.

Not really a zoo, the Rainforest Habitat at the turnoff to Port Douglas has 'breakfast with the birds' and lots of animals, including crocodiles. Great fun for kids and parents. Mossman Gorge is wonderful and the Daintree World Heritage Rainforest is a great day trip. Hartley's Crocodile Adventures is also worth a visit.

About David and Leslie Frost
David spent many years in the antique business as a restorer and French polisher. Leslie has recently retired from her position as the environmental manager of the Australian Antarctic Division.
David and Leslie Frost purchased this House in 2012
Why David and Leslie Frost chose Port Douglas
We bought this as our holiday house to escape the cold winters in Tasmania. Leslie spent many of her summers in Antarctica, so the tropics have always appealed to her. We do not have other properties, so you will find this is a complete family home.
What makes this House unique
Love the lifestyle in Port Douglas. Love being able to have all the doors and louvers open all the time, the lush gardens and tropical plants. Love the sounds of the wildlife at night. Port is very flat, so great for bike riding - nothing better than picking a sunrise at low tide and riding on the beach.
