About this property

across the road from the BEACH!!

The House:
Hillington Ocean Views is a renovated 2 storey home that sleeps 10 (includes 2 trundle beds for kids). Upstairs we have a bedroom with a queen size bed, lounge / dining area, kitchen and bathroom / toilet. There are 2 large balconies at the front and rear which offer magnificent sea or mountain views, depending upon your preference. The rear balcony has a BBQ along with tables and chairs for outdoor dining or just relaxing.

Downstairs has 3 additional bedrooms. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen size beds, whilst the 4th bedroom has 2 sets of bunks plus 2 trundle beds suitable for kids. There is also a family area (TV and couch) along with a second bathroom / toilet.

All furniture, utensils and crockery are provided for and all the guests need to do is bring their beach towels.

The Area:
With ocean views at the front of the property and views of the Otway Forrest to the rear, our guests have many options as to how they spend their time at Separation Creek. There is abundant wildlife also present in the area with king parrots and cockatoos regular visitor to the rear deck and a keen eye will also spot the occasional koala in the treetops.

The Location:
Hillington Ocean Views is located in the perfect position for any holiday or week-end away. We are situated 50 meters from the Separation Creek beach and just 1 km from Wye River; a leisurely walk along the beach (tide permitting) or Paddy's Path through the bush. Wye River has a general store where you can purchase all your daily groceries, or in peak seasons, a lovely meal, complimented with local wines, is on offer. The Wye Beach Hotel is well regarded for it's ocean views along with a nice meal.

Lorne is a 15 minute drive away whilst Apollo Bay is 25 minutes away as you head towards great tourist attractions such as the Otway Fly and the 12 Apostles. Both Lorne and Apollo Bay have extensive shopping and restaurants available.

Great Beach House

Just across the road from the beach, this house provided our party of six with tonnes of space to cook, relax and watch the tennis, when we weren’t over the road swimming. Would absolutely recommend and visit again!

New year getaway

Exactly as described, spacious,clean, perfectly position beach house. Two balconies to enjoy, back is bush views with cockatoos and rosellas visiting, front is uninterrupted beach view to watch the rolling waves and amazing sunrises. Quiet location, car drive 1km to general store or walk along the rock pools.

Loved our little get away

3 generations of my family enjoyed 2 nights of Sep Creek. The house was amazing with plenty of room for entertaining. The different areas within the house meant that everyone was happy. The view was exceptional. Comms were awesome.

Fabulous view and property

From the moment we stepped into the home we were impressed. Everything has been thought of! A full kitchen with everything you need! Great sized bedrooms and lots of extra linen and blankets if required. Ample parking, amazing views and friendly cockatoos and parrots every morning and afternoon.

Oceanfront chill vibes

Jason was lovely and very easy to correspond with, and very accommodating with minor changes from us. Being on the ocean front was absolutely amazing; we loved being able to easily wander across the road to the beach. Large communal spaces were perfect for large group hangs. Loved it!

Fantastic beach location

Great beach property literally seconds from the beach. Away for the hustle and bustle of it all but close enough to lorne and one km along the road or beach to the wye river gen store fire great coffee, groceries Etc. Any problems were quickly addressed by the owner and caretaker. You do have to watch the water use )and not use washing machine) and clean the property before leaving but that helps keep the price down and it's very good value for money. Would definitely come again!
