About this property

Stunning views with soul

Tastefully appointed, STOP PRESS: BRAND NEW DECK (completed Nov 2022)., you will love this simple yet charming house. Why not escape to this pristine beach paradise for a short break?

Emerald Beach House has a great location set up above the street and is very close to the surfing beach and less than 20minutes north of Coffs Harbour. The house is beautifully presented, clean and well maintained, with lovely coastal views.

The enormous deck (Nov 2022) showcases our panoramic views of the beach and coastline and has plenty of space for sunbathing, lounging and dining. See the photos - currently being updated for the new space.

Accommodation is on the one level, although there are two flights of steps up to the house from the street. The living and dining areas are generous and a reverse cycle air-conditioner and fan will keep you comfortable. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and a shower as well as a large laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities for guest use.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the large second bedroom has twin beds and a foldout ottoman - it can comfortably accommodate up to 3 children or 2 adults. Each bedroom, and the living area, are fitted with a ceiling fan.

The fully-fenced rear garden is accessed through the tiled laundry. An outside shower is available to wash off sand and saltwater.

Our part-time manager uses the small completely separate flat on the lower level.

As well as the main surfing beach, there's a large leash-free area of the beach for dogs so you can book a holiday for the whole family!

Emerald Beach is a small village less than 20 minutes north of Coffs Harbour. along the Pacific Highway. It has two great restaurants, takeaway store, a pizza/pasta place, hole in the wall cafe, general store, hairdresser and bottle shop.

We have stayed at this property multiple times, Wayne and Chris are always fantastic hosts, they go above and beyond to make our family and pups feel welcome and happy! A Jewel in Emerald Beach

Wonderful property with views of the Pacific to die for. Great communication from Wayne (manager) and the house is everything required for a fabulous stay. Lovely cafe culture and this was our second time there staying at this house.

This was a great property in special location/views with v helpful owner/manager. Just as described If I had one slight negative to say we were kept awake by downstairs tv noise…only say that for awareness by owner, not a complaint!

We had the most wonderful stay we just wish we were there longer. So close to the most beautiful beach and great fish and chips just up the road. I almost want to keep this gem to myself !! We will definitely be back for a longer stay .

Just what I was hoping

My stay at Emerald Beach was so good. Despite the rain I found I could still enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. Having a small backyard at the back was a great thing too for my dog. I'd definitely stay here again and hope to return soon. Thanks Wayne and Chris

Amazing location and view

Very relaxing and comfortable house with the best view you could ask for. Our dog loved it, kids loved it - we had a wonderful week. Thanks to Wayne and Marian for being so friendly and helpful. This was our third time at the house and we’d love to come back again.

The cottage is comfortable and homely with everything you could need for a relaxing break.The only fault with our holiday was that we only booked for one week, I wished it had been longer.Wayne, the manager, is an added bonus to a fabulous place, thank you.

Perfect for us

We were only here for a short time as a stop over on our trip, but we will hopefully return for a longer visit again. The outlook is superb, the deck is second to none. Extremely tidy, all the things you could need and a few extras like toys and games for kids that you would find in a family beach house. The beds and couches (inside and out) were very comfortable. We couldnt fault it.

Beautiful and convenient

We just finished our first stay here and would definitely like to come back. The view from the deck accompanied by all the birds that come to feed is gorgeous. We often felt that we didn't even need to leave the house to enjoy the area because we could see it all from there. Having rented on the coast many times before, we really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, new BBQ, very tasteful decor and Wayne, the friendly property manager. The only suggestion I would make is to upgrade the mattress and pillow quality in both bedrooms, they could have been more comfortable. The bedrooms can also get quite hot in the summer without air conditioning, but we slept soundly anyway from all the fun in the sun!
