Lovely house! Large rooms comfortable beds One with en-suite the other bathroom at near back door. And third bathroom in outside laundry under back veranda Three bedrooms with queen beds and one smaller room with two single beds Susan is a great host! Very relaxed and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Very short walk from Main Street
The cottage was wonderful and the fire in the main room was amazing as it was a cold night. The host was very quick to communicate with us as we were running a little behind in our schedule. An amazing quiet, comfortable place to stay
A break away from the hustle and bussel of the burbs. Nana's Home is a beautiful old house in Orroroo. Large bedrooms and lounge room. In a very quiet street. Great location to shopsandpubs. .Always loveand pubs.
What a great place to stay! All facilities as described and well maintained with breakfast requirements provided. Loved the house … squeaky floors reminded me of childhood homes … comfortable and spacious. Congratulations, Susan, on preserving local and family history and adding extra contemporary layers. Good luck with your further endeavours.
Nannas house is like stepping back in time!
Every comfort you could possibly want.
Full credit to the host Susan who had everything in the way of basic essentials ready to go on arrival. Fully recommend this accomodation.
Very suitable for our stay. The combustion heater was prepared ready to light which was a lovely touch. The air con or its remote wasn’t working so it could be a problem when really hot or unable to use the fire. Lots of bits and pieces in the kitchen to use which was also helpful. Reasonable rates too.
We have stayed here several times over the years. An excellent base for all Flinders Ranges touring, especially round the back of Quorn which we love - the scenery is unbeaten and the wonderful ochre colors are a delight. There are two pubs in Orroroo for eating as well as the excellent Two Farmers Daughters cafe which also sells fruit and vegetables, also lovely gifts.Nanna's home is adequate altho maybe a touch of upgrading could be done but for a holiday all good!
Our second stay here and was just as comfortable and convenient, especially when travelling with dogs. No fencing but it’s a quiet town and the dogs were good.
Basic food supplies provided although the bread was not fresh and the milk was two days past the use by date. This didn’t spoil our experience though.
The property was very comfortable and has a large lounge room which was not in the pictures. Also a good outdoor living area. Our hire car broke down and the host was amazing in helping us (4 people) get a lift to Adelaide. Thank-you.
We spent the long weekend at Nana's and had a wonderfule stay. It was a great base to explore the local area, and we enjoyed day trips to Hawker and over to Melrose to hike Mt Remarkable. Orroroo is a lovely community and we enjoyed meeting locals at the pub and while buying up on lots of meat for our delicious weber cooked dinners.
The entire experience was easy with no issues at all. Susan made this a pleasure.

Great holiday accommodation
We stayed in Nana's Home for three days with my relatives who were visiting from the UK. We were all mighty comfy in our beds, the showers were lovely and hot, and the nights were so quiet. Only a short walk into town to the Commercial Hotel. Food here was average, but didn't get to try the other pub a bit further on.
