About this property

Tathra Beach Retreat

Well appointed open plan two bedroom house with a large elevated hardwood timber deck with BBQ to enjoy the outdoor living. The living areas, including the main bedroom, offer access to the deck and fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean & Kianinny Bay.

SLEEPING - the property sleeps 6 comfortably (1 x queen in main bedroom, 1x double and 2 x single bunk beds in2nd bedroom). Well suited to two couples wanting a group stay or a couple with 2/3 kids. Please note - linen and towels NOT provided.

PET FRIENDLY - the property is fully fenced with large kennel and is one of only a couple of properties in Tathra that welcome pets by negotiation. Please advise at the time of enquiry/booking if you are bringing a pet.

KIDS - well set up for kids and even toddlers with portacot, high chair and stroller provided. There is also a safety gate for the stairs in case your kids are not yet stair competent. There is also plenty to occupy their time with a great playground in Tathra and very safe swimming at the southern end of the beach or Bega river entrance.

ATTRACTIONS - 150m to professional boating/fishing facilities, whale watching between May & Nov, excellent golf courses, bush walking, historic wharf, pristine beach & river.


Make the most of Tathra's outdoors - exploring on land or by sea.

Situated right on the door step of beautiful Kianinny Bay (250 metres) the property provides convenient access to:

Professional fishing and boating facilities;
Great walking tracks through Bournda National Park;
Superb south coast golf courses;
Whale Watching (May-Nov).

There is superb snorkelling/diving or swimming 250 meters from the house in the protected Kianinny Bay. Kianinny Bay provides free picnic/BBQ facilities and also a boat ramp to access outside fishing. Tathra's main beach, historical wharf, shops, bowling club and restaurants are all only a ten minute stroll away.

If you haven't taken in the beauty and activities that are available in Tathra - you really need too!! Tathra Beach Retreat is the ideal base to do this from.

Great family get-away

Tathra Beach Retreat is just that, a great retreat on the quiet side of the Tathra township yet minutes from the beach. Our family of five, including 3 children under 6 enjoyed a comfortable stay with everything we needed to cook, bathe, and accommodate our lengthy stay. Looking forward to our next stay.

Love staying here, close to boat ramp excellent views. Perfect for our holiday as we bring our boat for fishing plenty of room in yard for storage of boat. Pet friendly so we can bring our Jack Russell for a holiday too. Perfect.

Fabulous little house

We loved our stay at Tathra Beach Retreat. Clean, comfortable and easy to access. Although not very big, we felt at home from the minute we got there. The property was very pet friendly and the location and view were fantastic. Thank you, we would highly recommend the property to anyone.

Fantastic location

This was our second stay and we loved every minute. From the sound of the birds in the morning to watching sunset from the deck while listening to the sound of the surf. It is a lovely 2 bedroom until with a huge north facing deck. Really enjoyed the upgraded kitchen.
