Cottage overlooking Merimbula Bay

Enjoy the views and quiet location on Merimbula's prestegious long point within short walking distance of beautiful Bar Beach and the wharf restaurant, coffee lounge & aquarium. Less than a 5min drive to Short Point surf beach or a casual 10min stroll. Open plan living and extensive verandahs enhance the use of space & let you enjoy the spectacular views over Merimbula bay.
Smart TV, DVD, CD player, electric blankets and convection heating ensure a comfortable winter holiday with ample entertainment within the Merimbula district as well as wonderful summer vacations.
Accommodation: Main double bedroom with QS bed, Second bedroom with twin beds, Third bedroom with bunks beds. Childs cot.
Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, cutlery/crockery etc.
Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Gas and wood BBQ's
**Sheets and Towels not included** All beds have doonas & pillows with covers.
Pets most welcome inside just not on the beds or furniture please. Deck has gates at both ends. Yard is fenced and is suitable for smaller dogs (or dogs that do not jump)

This property accommodates dogs and was very good in that regard. You wouldn’t want to have a dog that jumps waist high fences though. The house is very clean and well maintained and we were very comfortable.

Great family beach house with stunning view

We loved our stay. House was perfect for a laidback family beach holiday, plenty of room for the kids to run around and great deck with a stunning view to sit and watch the sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Great views, simple accommodation that has good amenities. Sheets and linen provided would be better.One of the bedroom windows didn't close so not secure at all.The backyard is great however not totally secure for dogs, especially if they can jump a fence. The fences are only just over a meter tall. We needed to leave our dogs with friends when out as we didn't trust they wouldn't jump fence and go looking for us.

Hi Bonita, I hope you enjoyed your stay. Just to address a couple of your issues. We were unaware the bedroom window was not closing. Had you contacted us during your stay we would have fixed this. With regard to linen, we state on the property description that sheets & towels are not provided. Our reasoning behind this is that providing linen increases the cleaning costs substantially and we like to keep the cottage at a lower cost so it is more affordable for those travelling on a budget. We had a great time at the property looking around Merimbula and Eden, property was fantastic and Kerrie/Stirling were great hosts who went over and above after inadvertently leaving some luggage there. Highly recommend!

Excellent family get away

Great communication with owners makes things so easy to get access to the property and it is a great house with everything you need. Great location and a good place to have you furry friends as well. We again will be back just really enjoying this cozy house with a great view.

We had an amazing Christmas in Merimbula. The house was in a fantastic position, a short drive to town and only a ten minute walk to the beach. Views of the ocean from the deck and a great backyard for our dog. We would have loved to have stayed for longer, it was perfect for us! We would definitely stay again

Easter at Merimbula

Very comfortable, well presented and really lovely views over the bay to the south, large fenced backyard that our Border Collie enjoyed. The kitchen was well provisioned, lounge and dining room spacious and the bedrooms a good size and beds were comfortable, we would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing holiday

Excellent location, close to Bar Beach & the wharf & walking tracks. The option for linen would have been good. No wifi (as listed on property description). A few basics like tea & coffee would have been nice but the kitchen was fully kitted out & we could cook a few meals. Easy checkin/out. Excellent communication. Lovely hosts
