COMPASS POINT 5 is one of Hamilton Island most popular properties! This 2 Bedroom, Villa has STUNNING views. This villa comes with a complimentary VIP Valet transfers.

Sleeping 7 and an infant in a cot this massive Villa is ideally located on the Western side of the island. This fully self contained property offers stunning sweeping views across to Dent , Plum Pudding, Titan and the Whitsunday Islands. It is in a central location, walking distance to the bustling shops of Front Street near the Marina where all the main restaurants and shops are. If you don't wish to walk, drive around the island in the Villa's complimentary Electric 4 Seater Golf Buggy. Additionally, the Free Hamilton Island Bus can pick you up and take you all over the island. This service runs regularly.

Superior Quality Furnishings

A palm tree lined walkway leads you from your private golf buggy parking area to the spacious air conditioned living area that has amazing views. There is a large screen LED TV with HD Digital Reception.

Also a Digital LCD TV, HD Digital Reception in the Master Bedroom.

The kitchen has every modern convenience including the all important dishwasher and microwave.

The living area and all bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The Upstairs Main deck comes with outdoor entertaining furniture and a barbeque.

The large main bedroom has incredible views, direct access to two decks and built in wardrobes

The other bedroom can be made up as two singles or a king bed and also have built in cupboard space. The property has a seperate Laundry with Tub, Washing Machine and Dryer. The apartment also comes with one quality Inflatable bed, Child Portacot, High Chair, Linen and Beach Towels are supplied.

Things To Do

If you get tired of watching the amazing sunsets and views of the islands...Hamilton Island features eleven restaurants and bars, a hairdressing salon, beautician, masseur, several specialty shops, bakery, bars, nightclub and a supermarket. Scuba gear is available at the dive shop while charter services exist for aircraft, yacht and power boats.

All resort facilities are at your disposal including water sports and the very popular Kids Clownfish Club. (Our favourite...and the kids love it!!)

In addition to the various resort pools you have access to a private complex swimming pool. The list of things to do is almost endless. You can go from snorkling in the warm currents of the ocean to para-sailing, mini-golf, sailboarding, shooting, sailing, a catamaran, fishing, a reef trip, tennis, go-carting, movie cinema, ten pin bowling and more.

Amazing view and great accommodation

On arrival we were greeted by our friendly valet,Dean who gave us instructions on our buggy use and showed us some highlights of Hamilton Island on the way to our accomodation. We had access to a buggy the whole stay which was perfect to get around and oh so easy to use. Our accomodation was wonderful with AMAZING views. Good amenities, such as oven, microwave, TV, access to streaming avenues and BBQ also very comfortable with air conditioning and big couch. We had use of a pool which seemed to be ours most of the stay And was lovely and clean An easy walk to shops and a fairly quiet street, spacious veranda with outdoor setting and banana lounges. Glenn our host was very communicative and accomodating from the start. If needed he was available to call and was friendly and helpful. Would reccomend staying here, especially for families with teens because they can walk to the hub of the streets easy. from the stat.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Compass Point 5 and would definitely return to this apartment again. We were greeted at the airport by Daniel who was very friendly and informative. Upon entering our accommodation, we could not believe the huge meals and living area. The kitchen was also a great size and very well equipped and the bedrooms were huge also. Once on the balcony, we were gobsmacked by the uninterrupted views across the breathtaking Whitsundays. Despite only having one bathroom, the shower area was made private by a privacy wall/door enabling others to use the toilet and basin. The buggy was an absolute bonus making it convenient to get around in and discover the Island which we enjoyed. Would highly recommend Compass Point 5 to anyone. A big thank you to Linda for rescuing us when we locked ourselves out of our apartment. You are a legend and a big thank you to our Hosts, Glenn and Caz for a great 1st time experience to Hamilton Island.

Beautiful view of the water

While we were more than happy with the spacious living area and bedrooms and the glorious view, there were a couple areas that attention. The bathroom could use an upgrade, and the shower has a step up into it that felt a bit unsafe with wet feet. We thought the deck surface could have been a bit cleaner, the bird droppings had been there for some time and it made it a bit unpleasant in bare feet. We found some of the glassware not clean in the cupboard, as if they were put away with unclean hands. We had no choice but to wash a few glasses before we used them. We also would have muchly appreciated face washcloths and perhaps more than one hand towel in the bathroom for our stay. We did love how quiet it was. Loved loved having tbe use of a buggy, that was gold! And definitely enjoyed our stay. We just thought these issues I mentioned were worth noting. Thank you

This is a great spot. Big apartment. Amazing views. Being on 2nd floor is good. Your own buggy is a must - as they can book out in busy periods. Only downside is the one bathroom/toilet area - odd shape.

Amazing property with massive decks and spectacular views! Loved the complimentary Golf Buggy! Caz & Glenn were wonderful to deal with and arranged our complimentary Valet transfers with precision. Only problem is that our stay wasn't long enough. Thank you we will certainly be back :)

I am the owner of Villa 5 & 10 Compass Point - Hamilton Island, my family and I have shared many wonderful holidays at Compass Point 5!

When the kids were young we could get some time to ourselves as they loved to hang out in the clown fish club.

We loved that we can go out on a days activity or just sit and stare at the boats sailing past, with in nice wine in our hand from the deck.

Sadly......We use it less these days as the kids are growing up and far to busy to hang out with mum and dad, and my wife and I are busy working and Studying.

We thought we would put it on HomeAway to share it with you.
