About this property

Beautiful, secluded cottage, a few miles from the Dells

Secluded 2 bedroom homes nestled on an acre of land.
This cottage has that private feeling but close to the Dells.
Enjoy hiking at Devils Lake, Pewits Nest, Mirror Lake State Park, Parfrey's Glen or canoe, kayak, or boat on Castle Rock Lake, Mirror Lake, Lake Delton, Wisconsin River, or Lake Wisconsin.
Mirror Lake, Castle Lake, Devils Lake, Devil's Head Ski & Resort are just a few fun places, to hike, swim, fish, boat, & swim.

Take a break from swimming & boating & stroll downtown Wisconsin Dells, WI And downtown Baraboo, which is a little bit further south then the Dells, but well worth the short drive.

This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has 1 Queen bed in each room. The living room
has a couch, love seat & a little kitchen table for you to eat at or play games. The Kitchen has a Stove/Oven, Refrigerator, microwave, & a Keurig. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, knives, silverware, plates, & cups.

The bathroom has 1 tub & shower combo and includes towels for showering. Please do not bring them to the beach.

A fire pit is available for roasting marshmallows, & a gas grill is available for cookouts after you spent your day kayaking or fishing.

A clothes line is available to hang up towels or wet bathing suites.

There is a large deck with a picnic table and a very large unfenced yard.

I live in Baraboo and and always available by phone through text message or a phone call. My property manager is also a phone call away if something needed to be taken care of.

Great cottage

Great cottage and great location. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. The yard is not fenced in for future pet owners, but we brought our yard anchor and lead so that was not an issue. We would definitely go back!

Cozy Cottage

The location was perfect! Just a few minutes away from Wisconsin Dells. It was a great cozy cottage with a spacious back yard and great accommodations. I loved the special touches the property manager did (s'mores basket, firewood, outdoor games). My friends and I would definitely stay again!

We had a nice weekend. Enjoyed the fire pit and grilling in the backyard. Our only complaint was that the cottage was NOT secluded as advertised, but was instead just steps away from a busy Highway.

Great start to a happy new year

Property was great and better than listed. The house was extra cozy on a big lot that gave our pup plenty of room to play in the snow. We stayed over NYE and Melody was nice enough to leave us a note wishing us a Happy New Year and a bottle of champagne for a midnight toast. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a place in the area.

Adorable cottage close to Downtown Dells

The cottage is cozy with a huge yard! Right off a main road. Road noise all night, not a deal breaker for me. The yard is nice and large with a great fire pit and chairs. Odd smell in the living room area, not sure if the rug was recently cleaned and just haven’t dried all the way or if it was recently sprayed for bugs but I’m sure the hosts will take care of it. All in all it was a good place to stay.

Off-Grid Dells

We stayed for a long weekend to get away from Chicago in and hit some Dells attractions. During our stay, the kids & dog enjoyed the very spacious backyard. I chased some wayward horses, saw a toad on the front porch. Non Chicago stuff (no gunshots!). Small, but cozy home. Road traffic is sometimes loud at night, but home is comfortable with great views of the stars and loaded fire pit. Overall - great stay!

Peaceful yet close to Wis Dells for the family

Cute and cozy well stocked small house. Very comfortable. Welcoming. Clean. Large yard in rear for walking dogs. AC works great. Grill. We loved lounging in the hammock. We were too busy to use the fire pit unfortunately. A cute surprise find was a mini waffle pan with shapes that make our at home pancakes even more special. The perfect place to crash between visits to downtown or a Duck tour or water park. Easy communication with other owner and a keypad makes for easy access. Didn’t want to leave.

If you are looking for a nice, quiet, cute, small house that is just outside of the hustle of downtown Dells, this is the place! Loved that my fur baby had a nice quiet place to be while we went out during the day. It was perfect fit for our little getaway!

Nice little cottage away from all the noise and traffic of the “strip” in downtown Dells. Peaceful and quiet with all the amenities. Very comfortable and pet friendly. Perfect for our use. Only 10 minutes or so from a family wedding at The Swan Barn Door. Beautiful surrounding country in the farmlands of Wisconsin.

Cute place with a nice big yard

This is a darling, tidy cottage with many thoughtful details. Our dog really enjoyed walks around the big yard. We were only here nights because of a dance competition, but we would definitely stay here again and take the chance to hang out on the back deck roasting marshmallows in the fire pit evenings. We loved it.

Delightful little cabin.

Was just as described and pictured. Cozy, clean, and located close enough to the Dells for convenience but just far enough to enjoy peace in the country. And I mean, peace and quiet. Excellent WiFi and cable tv and cell phone coverage, too. Take it from a semi-cranky, hard to please old geezer....if I like it, it has to be great...and Claire's Cottage is that. Great! You'll be glad you decided to stay here just as much as we were.

My name is Melody Byl and my husbands name is Scott and we just purchased this little cottage as a little investment property.
I am a real estate agent and my husband is an engineer and we both live in Baraboo, WI and have been living here with our children for 4 years.
We are originally from Michigan but my husband's job brought him to Wisconsin. We love the area and I hope you do to.

Why they chose this property

For a while now as a real estate agent, I have been looking for an investment property. As soon as I saw this cute, adorable, home, I had to have it.
You are a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Dells and experience nature, cook outs, and roasting marshmallows and create tons and tons of memories. We named this Cottage after my mother in-law who passed away from Breast Cancer in 2016. She loved the outdoors and experiencing nature.

What makes this property unique

This home is very private & off one of the main highways to Wisconsin Dells. With only 10 minutes from the water parks in the Dells, this makes the perfect get away for families who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the commercialization and tourism.
There are several bodies of water in the area, such as Lake Delton, Wisconsin River, Mirror Lake, Castle Rock Lake. Don't forget to check out Newport Beach right off of highway A in Lake Delton and stop in for lunch at Rivers Edge, next door.

This home is equipped with everything you need to make it a fun get away. You will have clean linens when you arrive, bath towels, washcloths, Stove/Oven, fridge, microwave, Kcups.

There is TV with Cable in the living room, A Queen bed in each bedroom. One bedroom has a very large closet with hangers.

Outside, there is a large patio with a gas grill, picnic table, and patio table set. There is a large fire pit and I provide 2 bundles of fire wood to use.

The yard is very large but it is not fenced in and on a 2 lane highway that is not very busy but the traffic is 55 MPH. My guests that bring their dogs love the large yard but are careful about the highway and I have never had any problems.
