The property was a lovely and situated in a handy location for walking to both Darling Harbor and the Circle Quay. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed. Sam, the host, was incredibly gracious about accommodating our requests.I would definitely stay here again when visiting Sydney.

Clean, comfortable and a good location with everything we needed for a couple of days within walking distance.The listing is a little confusing - the photos clearly show an oven/hotplates however it was called a kitchenette. On arrival they had a sign reading "not in use" due to regulations, so very limited ability to cook meals.

Lovely guests 5/5 :-) thank you for staying. The property has listed a kitchenette correct and the items included and not included are also listed on the site. As stated this is due to Heritage preservation of the properties in this special location. Hope that assists.

The place was comfy and only a 15 minute walk up hill from the cruise port. There is no view of the harbour from the cottage so a little misleading. The lights in the living room and kitchen went out as well as the hot water heater. Host came several times to flip the switch but that did not fix the issue. No hot showers for 2 days of our 3 day stay. You need to bring your own laundry detergent to run washer. You are asked to run dishwasher prior to checking out but there was no dishwasher soap. If we didn’t have those glitches it would have been perfect.

For context and assurance. The cottage is a hosted stay. Host is available to assist guest staying which is a positive :-) I believe the Host assisted guests by meeting them and holding luggage for them prior to check in so they could enjoy their day. Laundry detergent and dishwashing tablets are always available at the cottage - if you have trouble 'locating them' - again just ask your host. I understand this was a public holiday long weekend - and host made herself available via txt and in person when requested. This is a heritage street and I understand there was a power line issue 'in the street'- that created some intermittent issues over a day or so. The Host as I understood was there to assist. The Host also immediately offered the neighbouring connected cottage for the guests to use at their leisure when they mentioned the hot water issue. I would say the Host could not have been more available and genuinely helpful. Some smaller comments -- we do not ask you to run the dishwasher -- only if you wish to :-) it helps cleaners if there is a same day check in for next group of guests :-) We do not boast water views - but the properties themselves do overlook the Barangaroo Reverse and amazing Sydney harbour with direct access. Fabulous location. We do hope this assists some. We thank our guests for staying.

Excellent location & aircons throughout a bonus. Missed info of no WiFi sadly & that oven/ stovetop not available (remembered oven in photo) so since celiac this posed a challenge for local eats. Lovely owner(s) and location really splendid stay regardless cheers

It was a beautiful spot, close to everything we needed but also quiet at night. Given the hot temps, aircons in each room where appreciated. The house is beautifully appointed blending its heritage with modern living seemlessly. Sam provided some great tips to the area. We had the best time!
