Wonderful Apartment

Rented this apartment to attend my granddaughters, Wedding. Apartment access was easy with great parking. We really enjoyed our stay, apartment was quiet, clean and kitchen had all the necessary utensils for whatever we wanted to cook. Will rent this location again when we return to visit our granddaughter and her new Husband.

A little disappointed in provided items: 1 roll of TP in each bath, very used linens and towels, no throw for living area, no K-cups and cooking supplies were lacking. New sofa was nice, close to beach and unit was clean.

My first ocean beach vacation ever

FABULOUS! Every single thing was absolutely perfect! The spacious condo is just a few feet from the beach, parking in the shade, wonderfully stocked kitchen, (even for gourmet cooking!) both kinds of coffee makes with plenty of coffee, lots of ice, plenty of linens, and good quality shampoo and soap. I loved this place! 😊👏❤️

We are pursuing a refund for this trip. We arrived to find out that the AC was broken, then informed that it was on us to wait around for the repairman which basically took up our first day. The AC never really worked, and on our last day workers arrived at 730a to replace the unit which took around 6 hours. Given we were at the beach, AC was not something we wanted to go without, but having to spend 2 of our 4 days ensuring the property owners got their AC fixed is not our responsibility nor something we are willing to have to pay to take care of. It was a total slap in the face, and the property manager couldn’t have cared less.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We sincerely apologize that this issue with the A/C affected your trip. The problem began suddenly and we responded as soon as possible to get a solution underway. The AC had developed leaks and needed to be replaced, and the AC company helped as much as possible with refills of freon every 2 to 3 days until the new unit arrived for installation. We hoped our efforts to make things right would have been enough to make up for the inconvenience. For future travelers, the unit has now been replaced and this will not impact reservations going forward. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Perfect Place

This was a perfect little place for us to stay for our family of 4. It had great access to the beach, comfortable beds, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The whole process with booking, checking in and out was so easy and simple. The only issues we had were the back door didn’t lock, 2 kitchen lights were out and there was only 1 parking pass ( which we only needed one). We will definitely come back and book this place again.

Just Enough

It was a good, quiet spot for our growing family of 5 (so far). Dog friendly, with a fee. Clean, host responsive, and I felt like we were the only (loud) ones there ha. Pool was opened, everything was provided to us including pool key, and binder filled with info, including recommended restaurants, which is always helpful to us when we travel. Nothing super fancy, which is why I titled it what I did, but with 5 stars. The beach itself, wouldn’t recommend. Not much to do in the area at all, but very historic! That was the best part.

This condo was perfect. It was very clean. Parking was a little difficult for a truck, but there was other options. The guest contact was very thoughtful and left me a card with a gift card since I had lost my husband 8 months ago. Very nice people and place. I will go back.

Great Vacation Condo!

It's our 3rd year staying here and we love it. Very convenient to local restaurants, the broad walk, and a short drive to other attractions. Comfortable living space, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need! Big washer and dryer is a plus! Close walk to the beach, the beach is beautiful, with excellent surf fishing. The condo's swimming pool is large and kept very clean.

Quaint & Convenient.

Overall this stay fit our needs perfectly. A very short walk to the beach, not beach front but literally one street from the beach. Do not expect anything luxurious. this space had a nice couch, a nice living space right off the balcony with a big Tv to share. The bedrooms were clean, matresses were clean, bathrooms had been cleaned very well. TV in the bedrooms were teeny tiny but we only used them for background noise. This space had a Washer & dryer so we washed the towels provided during our stay so we could resuse them. Kitchen was stocked. It really was a nice stay for us, our friends and our pup! The property was pet friendly We were glad we could bring our pup. There was a grassy pet space for dogs to go out, they provided waste bags. I didn't try to wander too far with our pup-- there were little pieces of glass around the pet area where cars unload. Another negative about the property pertaining to pets--there are a ton of non pet friendly plants (cactus & thorny/spiked bushes) throughout the parking area / pet space. We had to pull glass and a thorn out of our pet's paw. Ultimately more pros than cons. We would likely stay again but would maybe second guess bringing a pet.

March Trip

As always we enjoyed our stay at the beach. The location and property is so clean and comforting. New furnishings in the living room and kitchen , the recliner and couch were comfortable and gave more space for the unit. So glad we found #19 and we will keep this property for our getaways. Can't say enough........Great property and close to shopping, great local restaurants that we love.

Thanksgiving Experience

Great unit as this was our second stay in 30 days. Cooked my entire Thanksgiving meal and took to my father's home in Wilmington. Unit is so nice and convenient to stores. Beach time with husband and pooch was awesome, short walk to the beach and the beach is so beautiful.

The unit was perfect for us, lots of room, great kitchen. Very clean, great access to the beach, restaurants and shopping in Wilmington. This is a keeper, already booked for Thanksgiving 2020. Pet friendly, lots of walking areas, even a nearby park. Vacation was so pleasant and knowing now a place for all our time throughput the year in NC

Not worth the original 5 star rating

It was disturbing the amount of water bugs/roaches we saw. Broken tv in one of the bedrooms. Almost fell out of one of the almost broken dining chair. You had to continuously adjust the couches since they were outdated and were being held together by wooden slabs under the cushions. With how much we paid and the original rating we saw of the place, we expected a lot better than what was offered. Hopefully a guest doesn’t park on the street either with a low car, with the high tide (which there was no warning), you’ll have difficulty getting in and out of the car. There’s a lot of street noise too at night, had a hard time sleeping. Was not what we were hoping for at all. Only good thing was maybe the convenience to the beach.
