Why they chose this property

We have long loved Portugal for its unspoilt nature, friendly people and good food, but mainly because it is perfect for wintering. We have now been able to spend the last few New Years in our own flat, sitting in the sun on our terrace at over 20 degrees or spending time on the beach. In Europe that is something you can only experience here at this time of year.

What makes this property unique

Altos da Raposeira is so ideal for us because it meets all the important criteria. It is a bit away from the hustle and bustle and we can enjoy the peace and quiet and the wonderful view. Behind the house begins the Costa Vincentina nature reserve with its pine forests where we like to go for walks or bike rides. In the small village of Raposeira (1km) we can get the necessities in a small supermarket or café. Everything else is available in Vila do Bispo (3 km) or Sagres (9 km). Raposeira is right in the centre of the tip of the Western Algarve, so we have countless choices of beaches without having to travel long distances.
