About this property

Haven at Hogans cottage

Comfortable 3 bedroom house, with lake views from the front driveway.100 metres to water access where your boat can be launched. Ski, fish and swimming friendly.

The town centre of Yarrawonga is a 5 minute drive, but if you have the clubs in mind call the club courtesy buses.

The Rutherglen Winery district is a short 30 minutes drive, or book a bus tour and enjoy the ride.

The house has 1 split system air-conditioner at one end of the house, 1 air conditioner in the main room and a freestanding log fire (kindling and some wood supplied) to ensure a comfortable stay whatever the temperature.

There is a BBQ under the back pergola, 1 television, 1 DVD player and a stereo.

The kitchen comprises a large fridge, microwave oven and gas stove/oven. The laundry has a washing machine.

The house is located in a very family orientated area so would ideally suit a family holiday or that fishing trip you always wanted to take. No pets please.

We had a great stay! The house was ideal for us. Between 2 families there were 4 kids so being able to close the gates meant the kids were safe & contained as well as backyard cricket balls were not going out down the drive to the road. The location was great to the boat ramp / water. Owners were great to deal with. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Good place for family trip

Good location near the boat ramp, nice simple house for a relaxing few days. Would have been nice to be aware of both bathrooms under renovations mainly the ensuite. I cut my foot on the carpet just outside the ensuite due to the works in progress. Overall this is a nice place to stay and hopefully the renovations will be complete soon

The property was neat and tidy. There was enough room for all the people we had including 4 kids and the couch was huge and fitted the 8 of us on, not that we used it much as we organised it just for a bed for two nights. The only thing we would complain about was there were no towels, shampoo and soaps we had to go and buy while we were staying, other than that it was good.

a little confusing

the listing states: • Linens provided • All towels and bedding washed in hot water that’s at least 60ºC then on the morning of the day we were to arrive we were told "Don’t forget your towels", we grabbed some and sure enough there were none despite the dictionary including towels as linen! then the fire is described as "a freestanding log fire (kindling and some wood supplied)" but there was no fuel. We think it would be a brilliant place for a family with several kids. big family room dining etc, reasonable sized bedrooms and great outdoors. whoever checks the cleaning once people move out could do with checking a little closer - dirty dishes in the cupboards is annoying. also the hosts are very prompt with communications overall very good

I have always holidayed in Yarrawonga with my parents and siblings growing up and always looked forward to the temperature, the lake and everything Yarrawonga/Mulwala had to offer. Having 3 kids ourselves we wanted to give them back what we experienced so we purchased a small 2 bedroom holiday home and decided to rent it to friends, families and fisherman alike. Its a humble property but everything is supplied for a fuss free holiday. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Location, Location, Location. it was the closest house to the lake within our budget. Extra large parking and garage for boats, jetskis etc..... we have made some improvements along the way but mainly we just love the position and the house is very comfortable.
