About this property

Oceanviews-Walk to Goolwa Beach-Linen-Pet Friendly!

Our beach house is located less than 500m from Goolwa Surf beach. Come & enjoy our home away from home. The large balcony is the perfect spot to sit & enjoy the endless views of the ocean to Port Elliot & beyond. There is even a north facing rear deck perfect for preparing the evening meal on our gas BBQ.

From our beach house you can enjoy the many activities/sites that the Fleurieu has to offer. From bike riding to bush walking or surfing & fishing your adventures really are endless. Make sure you check out the weekend markets at the Wharf & for dining out we recommend Kuti Shack on the beach front, Bombora by the river, Hectors on the Wharf or why not try one of the many wineries in the area. The Royal Family Hotel in Port Elliot is a great family friendly pub that allows dogs. And after a relaxing day retire to your bedroom where you can let the sound of the ocean send you to sleep.

Our property sleeps up to 15 people throughout 2 floors. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms made up of 2 x queens, 1 x double with single trundle & fold down couch (fold down couch & trundle is mainly suitable for children), a large living/dining area, kitchen & bathroom. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms made up of 2 x doubles & 1 x bunk plus a 2nd living area, kitchen & bathroom. Please note that linen is included for all beds except the fold down couches/trundle & porta cot. Towels/flannels/bath mats are also included.

Each floor also has it's own large Smart Tv with stereo sound & DVD player. The detached room has table tennis & Foosball!

We just know you & your family/friends will enjoy 'Blue Horizons' as much as we do.

Great family holiday

Great location, great lay out, bottom level needs a little TLC and a size up on quilts is definitely needed for the beds. All in all a lovely weekend away. Kids loved the table tennis table.

Great fun for three generations to holiday together. Well set up to organise meals for 15 people and enough space to seperate as well at times. So many nearby attractions to enjoy. Beautiful view from upstairs.

What we loved first and foremost was the fact that the property provided linen and towels. That saved us so much work. All the beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was completely stocked with ample cutlery, crockery and glasses. We loved the 2 separate living areas especially with having young children. Seating arrangements are plentiful, indoors and out. We will be back as it had everything we needed and more !!

Good place for a large family

The house was great for our three family group. Setup was fine. Beds comfy. Let down by poor Maintenance. Globe out on dark side path with steps. Shower screen new looking, but leaked all over floor so we had a full on flood in bathroom.

Owner was very helpful and promt with response . Layout suited our family beautifullly .Perhaps the occasional cleaning of cobwebs in games room and bedrooms would be good . Everything that was supplied was very useful . I would recommend this holiday house in the future .

A fantastic getaway

The property suited our family and was clean, it had everything apart from internet wi-fi and no clothes airer for inside. The weather wasn’t the best and rained a lot so had no where to hang clothes other than outside clothes line
