The Lazy Lizard at Lonnie

Located in the picturesque Point Lonsdale there is plenty to see and do, or if you prefer, sit back relax and do nothing.

The Lazy Lizard offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 Adults (or 4 Adults & Children) with 3 Bedrooms, lounge and dining area, outside entertaining area with 4 burner hooded BBQ and all within a fully fenced environment

Comfortable surrounds with a personal touch reflecting a coastal theme.

The main bedroom has a Queen size bed with a King Doona and the second bedroom has a Queen size bed with a Queen doona.
Both Queen beds have electric blankets.
The third bedroom has a single over double bunk and a trundle.
All bedrooms have heaters and fans
Free WiFi is available, with a TV capable of streaming Netflix direct on the main screen.
A second HD LCD TV with DVD player is in the 3rd Bedroom. There is also a small range of DVD's, games and books for your enjoyment.

Easy to use, well equipped kitchen with a Saeco Coffee machine for that morning brew.

With plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the sunshine throughout the day, all you need is a good book to complete the picture.

This is a no smoking property.
This property is not suitable for boats.

Local Attractions

The Lazy Lizard is within easy access to all the local attractions.

You can walk, drive or catch a bus, with a bus stop almost at your door.

Straight down the road is a safe family beach or a short trip to great surf beaches.

Local Cafes and shops are only a few minutes away as well as the Golf Club, Lawn Bowls and Tennis Club.
Walk to the Lighthouse and watch the ships coming through the heads or take a leisurely stroll along the promenade.

Nearby Queenscliff offers historic landmarks and boutique shopping as well as the Steam Railway, boat tours to swim with the seals, fishing, diving and the Ferry across to Sorrento.

Great cycling paths and close to the Bellarine Rail Trail and the Bellarine Aquatic centre is only a short drive away.

For a day trip, you could visit the Local Wineries, drive to Ocean Grove or Barwon Heads or tour the Great Ocean Road!

Having travelled Europe, Japan and australasia this was the 1st encounter we had with no linen supplied. The only info we got was the day of arrival in the welcome book. I believe the hosts are going to amend. Overall a great spot for access to the Queenscliff Musical Festival

Clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Liked the ability to separate spaces with sliding doors. Nice outdoor courtyard and garden space. Only downside was the location of the house on the main road to Ocean Grove and the traffic noise.

Nice 3 bedroom house on the outskirts of Point Lonsdale. We enjoyed staying there with our 2 kids. The house was a good value option over the Peak Christmas break when prices can go a bit nuts. The house decor is nice and the furnishings are comfortable. There’s a shaded barbecue area and small garden, but no kids toys or games or anything. You can easily drive into Lonnie or the Woolworths in Ocean Grove in 5-10mins. We did walk to town a couple of times but it’s 25minutes really each way so not something you want to do if it’s hot. There was a Wii that the kids had a play with and a DVD player in the kids bedroom to play movies on a small tv which was handy a couple of evenings.Some things to note… there are 2 toilets but only one shower and the hot water is on an electric tank that takes a while to refill if you run out. There’s no dishwasher and its BYO linen (sheets and towels). There is a washing machine (cold water only) and a dryer though.Overall a nice stay and would happily stay again.

The Lazy Lizard was perfect for our stay over the Queenscliff Music Festival weekend. Close to the festival bus stop and a nice quiet place to retreat to after a long day of dancing!

Had a lovely weekend away grom the city. Pretty relaxed and easy going. Everything within a short drive. The house had a homely warm feel to it. Would recommend family with kids to book it in the future.

We are a fairly active family and enjoyed walking and cycling to queenscliff and to the lighthouse. Really good coffee from some of the local cafes in point lonsdale

Our stay at the Lizard was enjoyable. We had unusually balmy weather to explore the coast. The house was exactly what the pics showed. Convenient location close enough to walk to the beach, (we did drive to the shops!) Wish we'd brought bicycles, as the bike path right there... thanks for the staycation.
