EXCLUSIVE LAKEFRONT with beach, beach house, piers, trampoline + sister villa

Villa Nordica is a lovely Scandinavian style lakefront home and a perfect location for a family vacation. Sitting on top of a small hill, it offers wonderful views of the lake. An acre of manicured lawns, private sandy bottom beach, 2 piers for relaxing and docking boats, a floating raft, huge water trampoline (shared with sister villa next door) and waterside fire pit for guests private use.

This house is ideal for families who want their own waterfront with a large yard for kids without danger of road between house and lake! Lots of space for everyone to spread out, work from home and physical distancing if need be.

Lounging on the pier, guests can enjoy the fun 'wake boarding show' that goes by. The beach between the two piers is ideal for little ones to play in the water, sandy bottom, shallow and very gradually deepening towards the end of the piers. At the beach, a beach house with living room and extra bedroom/changing room, refrigerator and comfortable lounge area for waterside relaxing.

Large deck by the main house over looking the lake and beautiful views around with dining area and gas grill. Framed by huge oak trees. Night time star gazing at its best. Beautiful scenery. Tranquility.

Kitchen is fully equipped and ready for family dinner parties. The open plan living with a new great room , kitchen and dining area offers a perfect place for the whole family to be together. There is plenty of table space for a large group, both inside and out. Cable TV and WiFi !

The design is clean, fresh and cheerful. Cathedral ceilings. Off white wooden floors through out for clean low allergen environment. Pretty china and glass cabinet full of wine glasses waiting for the vacation to start....

Villa Nordica is situated in the middle of the Powers Lake, on Jefferson Island. Couple of minutes walk to the bar/restaurant Annex, where live music and fun evenings take place. On the lake the social scene is busy, there is the wonderful and popular 'rock bar' - a shallow area in the middle of the lake where boats anchor and people mingle and have fun (volley ball and cook outs in the middle of the lake). The 4th of July fireworks on this lake are impressive, the Powers Lake Yacht Club even host a Venetian Carnival - a must see - as pontoon boats get dressed up and parade around the lake competing for a winner! Sailing school for children, regattas, dinner parties, ladies tennis, all part of the Powers Lake Yach Club activities.

Lots of festivals nearby! To mention few: Country Thunder Concert (mins away), Alpine Valley summer concerts and Lake Geneva has events through out summer...

Guests may bring their own boats and dock at Villa Finlandia's pier. Boats can be rented nearby on the lake. Ask for the info.

Wintertime the area is a wonderful place to enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, etc. Villa Nordica has its own hill for sledding, Powers Lake has a busy ice fishing scene and derby, and the nearby lakes offer ice sailing and other fun activities. There are 3 ski hills nearby; Wilmot just 7 minutes drive, Grand Geneva about the same and Alpine Valley little further. Lake Geneva hosts an international ice sculpture festival and Powers Lake has its own ice fishing derby.

Please note that during wintertime, the boathouse is not included. So the 6th bedroom, which is in the boathouse, is not included.

Any extra guests, events, parties, pets, etc, to be discussed with management with an agreement made in writing prior to booking.

NOTE: The professional maintenance crew is following official guidelines and recommendations by the CDC for the cleaning routine, disinfecting properly between bookings. Also offered is a self check-in with a smart lock.

NOTE: SISTER VILLA FINLANDIA - next door ! This is right next door to Villa Nordica, has its own waterfront, boathouse and piers. The water trampoline is shared by the two properties. The main house has 7 bedrooms, boathouse one. 21 bed spaces in all. These two villas can be rented together for large groups, weddings and special events. Listing on homeaway 272404. All events must be discussed and approved by property owner, Extra fees may apply.

One of our favorite places!

We had a terrific 3-week stay at Powers Lake and Villa Nordica, and we’re planning to stay even longer next year! Great family hangout space both inside and outside. And lots of bedrooms/beds. The only issue was a non-working dryer, but the property manager was very responsive and made arrangements for our laundry to be picked up. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful getaway!

We had a lovely time staying on Powers Lake. We were a large group of ten adults and six children, and the house fit us all fairly comfortably (especially once the kids decided to sleep out in the boathouse). (Note, boathouse does not have a bathroom!) The location right on the water couldn't be beat. We loved the fire pit and deck and were able to rent a pontoon boat that we could drive right up to our dock. House was clean and the fixtures were gorgeous. Had a wonderful time and would rent again!

Exceeded Expectations!

This was our second year in a row renting one of Helena’s beautiful villas- Villa Finlandia last year and Villa Nordica this year, for a Labor Day Weekend getaway with some friends. Helena once again blew us away with a fully accommodated stay and everything we could ask for, from a spotless and beautiful main house and boathouse, to an immaculately maintained waterfront property with a lovely pier and water rafts, to an informative and helpful arrival package with all the information we needed. The house was spotless upon arrival and came with everything one could need, with plenty of bathroom towels for all the guests, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of seating and sleeping space for everyone. The property is spacious and absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views of the lake at any time of the day or night. Truly could not ask for a better place to spend one of the last weekends of the summer, and we are all looking forward to returning for a third year!

A Great Lakefront property!

We had a reunion of 33 friends, who hadn’t all been together in 25 years. Aging from 2 to 80. We rented both properties. A little tight in sleeping arrangements because no one wanted the nice boathouses without bathrooms, but we knew that going in, as the listing says that. (A great place for teenagers, but we had none). But all was fine. The properties are well equipped with everything you would want..kitchen supplies, grills, high chairs, outside chairs and tables, small step-in beach, and the trampoline..wow..great entertainment. We had every night’s dinner on the fantastic large outside patios with a terrific amount of seating and a spectacular view of the lake! We fully enjoyed ourselves at these lakefront homes and would definitely recommend them to all. Checkin was simple and Helena was responsive to our few needs. Thanks!!

Great Family Getaway

We rented this house for a weeklong family getaway with our adult children and grandchildren - 13 people, including 7 children ages 8-15. I'll preface by saying we were diagnosed with Covid one week prior and, sadly, were unable to participate in the festivities, so the review is from our adult son. House has a great location in a quieter side bay of Powers Lake. Lake has shallow shoal area in the middle which is good for hanging out. boat traffic very heavy on the weekend. House features a nice open kitchen, dining, living area in main house that can accommodate 12. Gas and charcoal grills a plus and in good condition. Fridge in boat house and extra fridge and freezer in main house plus extra deep freezer in main kitchen…so plenty of cold storage. Big pantry for food storage as well in the kitchen. Huge deck. Good fire pit right next to the water along with a flat grassy area good for games. Dock and trampoline had issues but they were prompt to address and fix. 12 people and only 2 bathrooms was a challenge at times. Trampoline in the water is shared with sister house next door so if both houses are full it can be a waiting game. Main house could use more hooks/bars for clothes and towels. Overall really enjoyed our time.

Villa Nordica

Villa Nordica is a great place for a large family. It sleeps 8 adults comfortably in the house and a bunk room that sleeps four. One of the basement rooms and the bunk room do not have outside window access, window opens to hallway. There is also a 4 person bunk room in the boat house, our teens loved it but there is no bathroom as stated in description, so would not recommend for younger children. Powers Lake is a great lake for tubing and skiing. We rented a pontoon, wave runner and kayaks which was so much fun. Rock Bar was a fun place for drinks on the lake and the Annex was a short walk away. We recommend Pierless Boat Rentals, tell Kevin we sent you! Would also recommend the Aquanut ski show at Twin Lakes, great show and dinner after at Touch of Class! The patio has a great view and lots of seating options. Plenty of seating in kitchen and family room for games and meals. Helena and Joel were quick to fix all issues that came up which was appreciated, including doing our laundry one day since the dryer was broken. I would recommend bringing your own blankets, bath towels. kitchen towels and beach towels. Bath towels are provided but not in great condition. Basement rooms were chilly with ac on and kids were cold in bunk house. For the cost, a few repairs are needed and updates to bedding and mattresses but overall a nice place to stay. Would recommend if looking for a fun week at the lake!

Great Lake House on Powers Kake

Wonderful stay, plenty of room for everyone, beautiful lake. We rented a pontoon boat and a speed boat and the kids tubed, wakeboarded and water skied. Boat house was so convenient and the fire pit made for great evenings.

Wonderful Lake House

We spent a week at this home and had a great time. What’s cool about this house is that it’s perfect for a family of 4 or a group of 15. The first floor is open and spacious with a huge party deck and two upstairs bedrooms. The lower level has a nice TV/seating area, two large bedrooms plus a bunk room with 4 bunks. There is a separate guest house at the water with a kitchenette, sofas and additional 4 bunks. Everything is new and carefully maintained. The owner was fantastic and helpful and wanted us to have a great time...we did! Would definitely recommend this lake house and will be back next year!

Great property! Owner not so clear her rules, which are many.

Becareful of owner -nice, but picky. We parked on lawn, she claimed we ruined it, not so. She stated we left dirty dishes in sink, we did. She stated we left all garbage cans full, we did. Where should garbage go? We left cushions on deck furniture, yes we should have put in bin, we agree, sorry forgot. We thought the high cleaning fee would cover the dishes and all clean-up. Just know all the rules, especially where to park,--it is a great place. Bring fresh propane tank too, we forgot.
