Huskisson is a pleasant drive (just over two hours) from either Sydney or Canberra. Come and experience the beautiful wildlife and beaches of Jervis Bay.
Casa Husky supplies everything that is needed for a great weekend or mid-week getaway. Ducted air conditioning, ventilation system and woodfire burner ensure that your stay at Casa Husky is equally comfortable in winter and summer months. Come to Casa Husky all year round - in the summer season, enjoy the blue waters and white sands of Jervis Bay, watch the dolphins and whales, go fishing, scuba-diving and take in the sun and surf.
In winter, the beaches are still inviting for a stroll rather than a swim (BYO beanie and scarf) and the cafes, restaurants and gift shops are great places to visit. There is an ambience to Casa Husky that is delightful and peaceful. Sip hot chocolate and munch on toasted crumpets as you sit beside a cosy log fire, read or cogitate, enjoy family games, watch some movies or live sport, spend time on your favourite hobby or simply relax with your family and friends.
After a busy day of total relaxation, consider taking the short stroll to Huskisson Beach at night after dinner. Be sure to look up at the sky, ablaze with stars on a cloudless night and, when you finally sink into bed, you may very well hear the whooshing of the tide as it comes into the Bay. How close is this to paradise?

Good value, clean and tidy, bright rooms, comfortable beds, convenient location, quiet streets surrounding yet so close to the very popular and busy Husky Centre.
This house was extremely affordable and the boys were also really happy to stay here. Good facilities and great location, near the shops and the beach, what more could you ask for!

Great location, really clean and super comfy beds. We had a great time at Casa Husky and lots of fun playing the board games in the house. There is no access to the hor tub mentioned but otherwise, couldn't fault the place
Good location, quiet street, clean house and well stocked.
The property is as advertised. It has three bedrooms, from King sized bed, through Double and two bunks...so would take 6. One bathroom might make that a challenge. All the linen was fresh, plenty of towels, washing machine, spa (which we did not try) etc. Good sized living area. Nice and close to Husky but nice and quiet.
So glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Husky, Karen. You're always welcome!
Kind regards,
Christine

Thank you, Stephanie, for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Husky. We have just completed a secure outdoor entertainment area for our guests, with a cubby for the children, barbecue, table and benches, deck chairs and a bar area for drinks or hot food, away from little hands. It is a lovely place to be, day or night, and is well lit. We'd love to share it with you. Do come back soon. The weather is so beautiful.
Perfect, simple holiday home for family. Close to beach and shops!
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Husky. Location was amazing. Easy walk to beach and just 10 min walk to the shops. Beds and furniture were comfy. It’s a simple, smaller cottage perfect for a smaller family like ours (we have two adults and two toddlers). The host was easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back.
Enjoyable family holiday a short walk from Moona Moona Creek. The kids enjoyed the cubby house but the courtyard was around the corner from the house so an adult had to be dedicated to supervising the little ones. Shower was over the bath requiring steps to enter - wouldn’t suit those with mobility issues. We had baths with the kids to keep them safe. They loved the huge bath!
King bed was super comfy.
This is a great little house situated close to the centre of Huskisson. The bathroom & kitchen are modern & clean. The bedrooms are also clean, nicely decorated & have comfy beds. There's nice lounge with a lovely fireplace (with plenty of wood supplied). There's an outdoor barbecue area that we didn't use - but only because all our meals were planned elsewhere. It's a short 5 - 10min stroll into town where there are plenty of shops, cafes & places to eat. The local pub in town has great food as well. The beach is only a few minutes away. This house was a great choice & we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Very poor, uncomfortable and disappointing.
This was a disappointment. The location is excellent and we were blessed with good weather but the house is not as it seems. The beds are so uncomfortable we had to try mattresses on the floor to try to get some support and relief to the back pain the poor quality and well worn mattresses caused. The window coverings in the 3rd bedroom are inadequate and the blind in the bathroom was totally inadequate. The neighbours, whose pool and outdoor area are right outside this window, would have been able to see us in the bathroom when using the toilet and taking a shower. This made us really uncomfortable. The shower did not stop dripping forcing us to keep the door closed at all times which does not open and close easily or quietly. The worst thing was the central air purifying system which never stops. The noise from it is unbearable and we had to ask three times before the owner would turn it off, we had no control over it and could not alter it in any way. The second bedroom smells like bad cheese and some of the fly screens have paper shoved in them to stop them from banging. The saucepans need their handles tightened which is indicative of the house overall, it needs some maintenance and attention. There are some toys and games in a cupboard but these had been put away without any care for anyone else who may have wanted to use them. They essentially looked like a toddler had thrown them into the cupboard from a distance. The play station didn't work as advertised. The fly screen front door does not cover the door space so when the mosquito's descend each evening you need to close the door. Overall the owners can't just rely on the location of the house and the weather to have guests. We will not use this house again. We left before we were due to as we could not cope with the lack of sleep due to the uncomfortable beds in what should have been a relaxing and stress free time away from our usual busy life.
Our stay in this comfy house was wonderful. The beds, shower and living area was all very comfortable and clean. Great location with a short drive to everything. Highly recommend to others and we look forward to staying again.
Everything was really nice. Just wanted to note that the chopping board seemed to have a fair bit of mould on it. Otherwise all really good. Would stay again sometime soon!

House had everything we needed - it was clean, bedrooms were comfortable, house was cosy and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. It is about a 10 minute walk into the town, which was fine for us and a very easy walk.
The house is as advertised and we had a great holiday. The check in process is very easy too.
Thank you for having us. We would come back again.

Not what we were expecting.
House musky, couldn't open any windows. Dusty tables and very dirty windowsill in lounge. Chair was broken. No wood for fireplace. Burnt logs in wheelbarrow out the front in carport. Hose messy across carport. Had to sweep up outside area and sweep cobwebs and leaves in cubby house.
Things like detergent, tissues, bathwash were empty. Four teabags, two sugars and no coffee. Rubbish bins outside full. TV remote didn't work.
Sorry to say all this but not good at all. We were taking our son and granddaughters away for couple of days, hoping to have a fire and be like winter.

Response from VrboOwner on 25 August 2021
Debbie stayed for 2 nights midweek. The owners were not able to visit the house for many months due to the extended lockdown in Sydney and the cleaners had been overseeing the property, whose exterior had only just been newly painted and reroofed. Debbie is critical but her comments are not fair. Firewood was placed in the wheelbarrow and more firewood was available in the woodshed a small distance from the house - hence the wheel barrow was present to assist in relocating required wood as needed. Bins are put out on Thursday and Debbie arrived Sunday evening, so items in the bin (although they were not full) would be expected, as she did not book for a whole week. The weather had been significantly windy on previous days, hence the leaves in the carport and patio. The broken chair is being investigated as it was not broken prior to arrival. Debbie's experience is not typical of most visitors, who tell us they love Casa Husky.
What a shame Debbie did not notice the two new lounges - her family was the first to use them.
