Box Hill Unit offers fully self contained accommodation in a well appointed 2 bedroom units. Just less than 10mins walking distance to the Box Hill town centre and train station, tram, bus, airport bus and Box Hill Hospital.

air-conditioning, ducted heating, gas log fireplace, single car garage and private outdoor area.broadband Internet available in our all units.

Box Hill Unit is perfect for families and business travelers, with easy access to shops, restaurants, schools and main access roads. Personalized service to ensure your stay is enjoyable.



Facility

The longer you stay the cheaper it will be. Generally there is QB and two SB in two bed rooms (sleep four), there are also sofa beds in living room and some fold up beds if required.

There is a computer set up for Internet access in every unit. You do not need to bring your own.

There is no WiFi. The television does not work. There are no streaming services. The dryer is broken. Neither the yard nor its foliage has been cared for in years. There is one trash bin (in the kitchen) and one kitchen towel. There were no paper towels, only one roll of toilet paper, no garbage bin liners, one towel per person, no laundry detergent, no broom, and four clothes hangers. The pillows and mattresses are old and stained. This property provides nothing more than a place to sleep and is not worth the price. Choose something else.

Hi, We found the service from Take a break and Aust Home Away very good and helpful. The service and instuctions were perfect as was the description of the property. Box Hill is well located and about 20 mins to most destinations we travelled to by car. The shops, about 1.5km's away have everything you need as far a groceries go.

Great central location.

We used this property for student placement at Box Hill Hospital, the unit was great, well equipped and central to everything.  Small maintenance issue addressed by owner immediately when notified.  Smooth checkin and out system, we found this unit comfortable and enjoyed our time there.

Could have been better

It was dark and raining when we arrived after our long drive from Adelaide. We had to meet the basketball team but desperately needed a shower.  There was no hot water.  We phoned the number provided. No answer.  Had to find the place online to find other contact information. Eventually found a helpful guy who talked us through lighting the pilot light on the outside hot water system!  Why wasn't it lit when they knew we would be arrived?  At no stage were we given a contact for someone in Melbourne. The owner had gone overseas and the person who we did find couldn't come to the property.  Obviously we couldn't shower as it took hours to warm the water. Same with the heater - we couldn't get it to work - so phoned the guy again - he asked several questions and we worked out that it had been switched off at mains. No hot water and no heating was unacceptable.
