This home was ideal for our 4day stay in Lake Toxaway area. There is a bit of a long and winding drive through the neighborhoods, but after arriving everything went smoothly. Good property, good visit.

Great place
Truly enjoyed our stay here. Property was incredibly clean and well supplied and very relaxing with the pond and the babble of the stream. Would certainly book again when staying in the area
This property is very nice! It is at the top of the mountain, so don't go in winter without a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The vegetation surrounding the property is so beautiful! The owner has done an outstanding job of making the outside of the cabin very comfortable and inviting. The cabin is fully equipped and very amenable to a relaxed stay! We totally enjoyed this property!
LOVED THE PROPERTY AND HOME. THE ONLY REQUEST IS PURCHASING NEW PILLOWS. THEY WERE SAGGING AND NOT COMFORTABLE. THE STAY WAS EXCELLENT AND LOVED SEEING THE BEARS IN THE YARD!!

Fantastic place
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It's a very quiet and safe place and our kids immediately stayed outside for a couple of hours exploring the property. The place had everything that one needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with spices and herbs, pots/pans and plenty of dishes and silverware. Highly recommend it. We would definitely stay here again.
The word "cabin" in the description is a misnomer as this was a fully equipped house with ample space for a family of 4. We had a small snafu at check-in, but the host proved attentive and communication was easy. Grounds were beautiful, quiet and private. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Remote location, though. It takes 10 minutes of windy, hilly roads just to get in or out of the subdivision, and far from conveniences if you need food or supplies. Close to several good restaurants, as well as some amazing hikes.
Seating areas outside are gorgeous. The house is immaculate & has everything you could possibly need. Well equipped kitchen was a plus. Plenty of room. Highly recommend.
Beautiful location in the Toxaway Community. The drive is beautiful and close to Cashiers and Highlands. The cabin was cozy and spacious, with a beautiful backyard featuring a running creek, spacious deck, pond and fire pit. Both double beds being king size was really a plus. We reserved dinner at the Greystone Inn Restaurant twice, and also at a couple nearby restaurants. There was plenty wood stacked outside for the fire place and fire pit. Couple suggestions to make the stay even better would be to leave basic toiletries like soap and shampoo in case someone forgets, additional clean towels and trash bags. The shower drain in the master bedroom is clogged and water drains very slowly. Other than that, highly recommended and would stay again.
This was the perfect retreat for young children. We did pretend-camping by the pond, searched for interesting foliage and enjoyed S'mores by the firepit around sunset. Truly a place of relaxation and simple pleasures!
We arrived Saturday evening to no heat and a thermostat that wasn't working. Reached out to the property manager and he was instantly communicative. He had someone out the next day to have the unit fixed, and it was a great stay after that! The deck and yard are beautiful and the area is nice, but at least a 30 minute drive to anything.
The property itself was great…just wish there had been a view! Our first impression was iffy considering the trouble finding it then with leaves piled in carport, stoop and deck, in front of doorways. Our biggest complaint was lack of information regarding the steepness of the last “leg” to the house as well as the actual driveway. I had to stand in the middle of the road to signal “coast is clear” so hubby could floor it to get up and out the drive every time we went out, (even with a SUV). Perhaps the owner should post “ 4 wheel drive suggested”. CLEARER marking of the property (at road) would also be helpful as we missed it on our first pass, then got all turned around….most other homes had signs in clear view with address and property “name”. Great hikes just up and down the streets and even the driveway! We WOULD rebook if we were to ever venture that “high” again!
We loved our stay in Lake Toxaway! The house is really close to the lake and Country Club. The deck and backyard are incredible and just what we wanted for a getaway to the mountains to relax. Communication with the property manager was great. Highly recommend this house for visitors to lake Toxaway!
From the time we arrived at our location the experience was very much meeting and exceeding our expectations. Entire family had the ability to soak in the peace and comfort and beauty of the property .
Enjoying a clean and very comfortable living quarters to being encompassed in a setting in the middle of nature.
This home was perfect for our group. Great one story layout, with plenty of room. Back yard area is gorgeous, with a running stream and pond. Home feels secluded from neighbors. Very peaceful. Lots of amenities inside and out.
Although the house has older appliances , everything worked well. The house is surrounded by trees and is very private. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace.
The amenities were not there for us to enjoy the property. The gas bottles for the grill and fire pit were all empty. We were looking forward to sitting around the firepit and enjoying the porch and using the grill to cook an evening meal. Also there were not any extra paper products for the bathrooms.
