The Wyndham Newport Long Wharf is a fabulous place to spend the best week of the summer. The indoor and outdoor pools mean you will be relaxing rain or shine. Purchase fresh lobster at the docks across the street, or use the free grills provided to summer BBQ in style.

You will be staying in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo within easy walking distance to America's Cup Boulevard, the Brick Marketplace, and Thames Street. All of the shopping, dining, and drinking establishments you know and love (or will get to know and love) in Newport.

Also, it is so much easier to eat healthier when you don't have to have every meal out. It's great to have so many options around you, but sometimes you just want a little cereal or bagel in your room without having to shell out $15-20 per person for breakfast. My wife and 2 kids just did a road trip in "normal" hotel rooms and we were so tired of eating every meal out (and having so little space for ourselves).

Great property and lovation

Loved being in Newport and the location is ideal for being able to walk into town and access shops/eateries/bay area!! Unfortunately a lot of the amenities listed were not available during our stay over the long Memorial Day weekend, but were being made available right after that weekend, so that was disappointing! The hot tubs were not working either, the movie theatre was off bounds as was the games room! Being a wet and stormy weekend it was hard to keep the kids entertained so hence I didn’t give it a five star rating! If we were to revisit I’d try and stay here again because as I said the location is fabulous and had it not been raining we would have spent a lot more time walking around rather than in the resort itself. Once the amenities are up and running I don’t think u can go wrong staying here. The property owner was highly communicative and pretty prompt with his responses so definitely a plus point there.
