About this property

Ruby Soho Villas are situated in beautiful Port Sorell on the North West Coast of Tasmania.Only 5 minutes walk to the beach, we offer 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom villas. The villas are 20km east of Devonport and 15 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry and the Devonport airport. So, arrive in Devonport and head straight to us, a perfect start to your Tasmanian vacation. Our Villas are near Shearwater and Hawley Beach, which have some of the best beaches in Tasmania. The boat ramp is close by and there is extra room to park your boat! The area is great for boating, fishing, water skiing and windsurfing. It is also perfect for the person who just wants to relax and soak up the sun and read a book.

There are many attractions on the North West Coast of Tasmania including Cradle Mountain, Anvers Chocolate Factory, Ashgrove Cheese Factory, Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, Narawntapu National Park, and many wineries and eateries to choose from all within easy day tripping distance of Ruby Soho.

Closer to home you have the Trend Shed Cafe and Homewares ( directly across the road ! ) Shearwater Resort, Ghost Rock Vineyard and Hawley House and other Vineyards. For the golf lover there are many golf courses in the area. Our villas are set up to cater for couples ,large families and groups with a flexible floor plan configuration. Sleeping capacity is 18. Totally self contained with all linen, towels & cookware provided we also have outdoor dining areas and BBQ's with all your holiday supplies able to be sourced close by. We have WIFI and Fox TV connected.

A great place

The advertising of the property was confusing. It read like the listing had all rooms but we later found out we would’ve had to make multiple booking to have access all the rooms (teens of different genders did not enjoy sharing rooms). There was some minor maintenance and cleanliness matters. Overall a great place and we enjoyed our stay and happy with the property.

Great accommodation

Have stayed twice now in 2 different apartments & enjoyed both equally. Comfortable, roomy, clean. 5 min walk to beach or river. 15 min walk to golf course. Close to Devonport airport. Great hosts & enjoyable stay. Thanks

Great location

Great location, fabulous unit, very well appointed. The kitchen was great, had everything you would need to prepare meals. The deep bath was fantastic. Certainly recommend this to all.

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Jason was a wonderful host. Port Sorell is stunning!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only negative thing was i couldn't find a can opener! Would definitely recommend this place.

A great venue for a large group.

Comfortable, Cosy, a real gem

Staying with 4 friends during the winter at this property was thoroughly enjoyable. The Large clean and reasonably modern rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The hot tub and outdoor fire place with lovely additions even in winter. The Owners are friendly and accommodating, and the property location is close to coffee and shops. We look forward to staying again I. The summer.

Accommodation was not as advertised, I asked for a 2 bedroom unit and got two beds alright, one in the lounge room and one off an open plan Kitchen. Not impressed!

Great Stay

We had a great stay, had a two bedroom set up which was really really good, great kitchen, lounge room and bedrooms were good. Was clean and tidy and had a bbq. Is in a good location with a short walk down to the water. We stayed here instead of Devonport, about a 20 minute drive in. We will be booking again next time for sure.
