Bird watchers will love this area as we have many different bird species on the farm including the famous Splendid Wrens, whistlers, robins, thornbills, spinebills, fantails and also a large group of red and white Tail Black Cockatoos.
There are fantastic walking and riding tracks everywhere in the forest close to us. If you are keen you can ride to the Arklow Trails north of Collie or south to the newly upgraded Wellington Dam trail network.
We have created three walking trails from the farm. They are well sign posted and include the historic spur line to the old mill.
You can walk to the historic Worsley Church "St Davids" to check out the history of the founding fathers of the Worsley region. Water skiing is permitted on nearby Stockton lake. You can kayak on Wellington dam and enjoy a coffee at the Wellington dam Kiosk (licensed). The new dam mural is fantastic and is a sight to behold. Electric bikes avail to hire at the dam (Adventure Connections). Our neighbor runs a tour/transfer company (Forest Explorers) - you can join for a shared tour of wildflowers, or private vineyard tour or create your own itinerary.
We are just a 20 minute drive from the Ferguson valley through Honeymoon Pool wall and about the same from Harvey and 10-15 mins to Collie. All areas have interesting things to do on your break. Walk down to Dodge dam at dusk and relax with a glass of wine. Watch the horses. cattle and sheep graze in the paddocks. Children can help collect the eggs and when possible, have a brush of my pony if I’m not busy. There are goats and lambs in season as well.

Host was easy to contact and provided the information we needed. The amenities are simple, as expected and advertised. Everything we needed was available and was spotlessly clean. The farm is situated in a pretty location surrpunded by forest, so very serene and relaxing.
Dale was a great host.Very understanding as our arrival time changed quite a bit at fairly short notice. The facilities were great and such a peaceful and relaxing outlook and atmosphere. She was very informative about the local area and we were able to buy some yummy free range eggs
An overnighter on the Munda Biddi bike ride. Pleasant. Very friendly and helpful hosts and a lovely rural environment.

Fantastic family break!
Spent a lovely long weekend exploring the Ferguson Valley - based at the rustic Crystal Valley Outcamp. Boys' loved the bunk beds and animals and mum and dad enjoyed the nearby Wild Bull Brewery!
Magic surrounds, comfortable cottage. Loved the nearby horses, chickens and bull. Great campfire provided by hosts, easy access to nearby trail network and Wellington Dam.

Hi Kelvin, Thanks for reviewing us. We are in a great location for cycling!!
This is our second time here and we will be back again. It's cheap, has everything you need, and is in a beautiful location. The owner is so friendly too.
Beats camping any day!!
Thanks Dale.
It was a lovely stay at the end of our camping trip, the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed a nice warm shower and firepit to roast some marshmallows. Our son (3) particularly enjoyed saying hello to lots of cute animals.
Outstanding! Very cosy with everything necessary for a relaxed weekend in nature. The lady even contacted us before we left to pre warn us of an expected cold spell. Everything was clean, attractive and « oh my goodness » views in every direction. Friendly dogs, horses, chooks, sheep in the paddocks with frolicking lambs and tasty fresh mandarins. Location is ideal for people driving, riding or hiking in and close to historic church site, Wellington Dam, lakes, bike trails. Suitable for single Pringles, couples or families. Loved it.
a little slice of heaven with the beautiful milky way stars at night so peaceful and quiet .Dale and Ken are wonderful and so caring about your stay in every way..A little haven for me
I highly recommend this place. Whilst the hosts said it was simple and basic I found it exceeded my expectations. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would want. It is very peaceful and scenic with animals around which made it even more special. Very affordable as well.

Amazing host
We had a very good getaway from the busy life for one night at CVO. The place is very peaceful and tranquil. Also very good for children as they get to see and feel some farm animals. It's complete with things that are necessary and we think it is worth our time and money.

Thankyou Dale for your wonderful hospitality. Both Billie and I had the best time and she enjoyed some great new experiencess she will never forget. The accommodation was very homely and relaxing, and we are very grateful to you for sharing your beautiful property with us for those two days. We didn’t want to leave so will definately be returning soon enough 🙏
Our group of six enjoyed a three-night stay on the farm over the Labour Day long weekend: so peaceful. The property is surrounded by scenic countryside with some great places nearby to explore; we went bushwalking, paddling and swimming. We spent every single evening on the farm, cooking, chatting, laughing, playing games, just enjoying the serenity of the place. Add to this Dale is fantastic host.
