Great cabin tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Clean, comfortable. The basement game room was a huge bonus as were the porches. Owners were wonderful to work with.
The cabin was nice and clean, but we found an unusual amount of dead and alive roaches. One appeared from the couch cushion and about gave my daughter a heart attack. And the bed in the upstairs room feels like it sags on the outside. I felt like i was falling off the bed. Otherwise it was great.
Host provided excellent communication throughout. Cabin is nice, clean and perfectly located for our north Georgia vacation. Though we didn’t use it nice room in the basement for families with kids.
The cabin provided a very tranquil feeling and my family loved the atmosphere it provided. The host was always very quickly to respond to any of the questions I had for her. Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the northern Georgia mountains, this is the place to stay!
The cabin is very private and the surrounding foliage is lovely. Check-in was a breeze (I had some issues on my end, and the host replied instantly, which was greatly appreciated). The location was very good for our planned activities. My only complaint was the list of clean-up items we had to tend to (when you're on vacation, the last thing you want to do is a list of chores, especially when you've already paid a hefty cleaning fee for a two night stay). Out of fairness, it wasn't a ton, but it included having to wash and put away all the dishes (I'm used to having to put them in the dishwasher, no problem, but wash and put away takes some advance planning), all used towels in one area (ok, no problem), strip all linens and put them in one area (a bit much, I opted not to), wipe down all counters, tables and the stove (I would have done it anyway, but takes away from the vacation vibe), collect all trash and take out (ok, no problem). Overall it was a good trip. The house had plenty of space, was clean and quiet, and the hot tub and game room were put to good use. We also appreciated the 3p check-in and 11a check-out (vs. the 4p/10a most rental properties have moved to).
We enjoyed our stay. We loved the cabin and have no complaints. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had every thing we needed. The complimentary snacks, coffee and mug were an added bonus. Thank you, we would definitely stay again.
