3 bedroom holiday home, comfortably sleeps 8 in the bedrooms.
Large fully fenced block and only 90 genuine meters to private boat ramp and the waters edge.
Use of private Ponderosa boat ramp where you can leave your boat moored overnight during your stay, please note this is also used by all other residents and tenants on the street.
Lounge/dining room with split system air conditioner, where you can sit back and relax. A breezy carport doubles as an undercover area. Outdoor pets allowed.
Ask about our long stay discounts for stays over 7 days.
If you are a family of 3/4 or 5 we may be able to offer the property at a cheaper price during off peak times, please contact us for a quote if this applies to you. We are unable to discount public holiday rates, unless they fall under the long stay discount system.
We are happy to provide linen at no additional cost if your stay exceeds 5 days. A portacot can be provided with prior notice, however you will need to provide your own linen for the portacot.
The property is perfect for young families, as toddlers and young children can play safely in the secure yard away from the water and when the adults are ready, you can walk to the water within 1 minute. Peace of mind, makes for a great relaxing holiday.
We love Bundalong and want others to feel the same way.
Ponderosa Boat Ramp Make full use of the private, picturesque inlet during your stay. With mooring areas for boat owners behind a secured boom gate, you can leave your boat moored overnight, provided you follow the boat ramp rules. Best of all, the water and boat ramp is only just over the road and a mere 90 genuine metres from your front door. Only residents and holiday makers staying in the street have access to the ramp, making your stay more enjoyable, without the hassle of launching and loading your boat at the end of each day. Go for an early morning ski or a late night fish, the choice is yours. Go for a stroll or relax under the trees in the large backyard.
Please note the property is not waterfront, it is on the opposite side to the inlet and one house up, representing 90 metres to your front door. During busy periods renters are expected to moor towards the rear of the inlet and on a first in basis, there should be plenty of room for everyone but please be respectful of the waterfront property owners and tenants.
Home
Bundalong Hideaway has a lounge/family room with a split system air conditioner, big enough to cool or heat the whole home. The first 2 bedrooms offer queen size beds with the third having two sets of full size bunks with inner spring mattresses, ensuring a good nights sleep for both children and adults. The queen bed mattresses were updated in October 2024. The outdoor table, chairs and BBQ make for a relaxing dinner on the grassed area and on the odd occasion if the weather turns bad, the cool and breezie carport, can double as an undercover entertaining area.
Due to the size and privacy of the yard, tents are permitted to be erected, with prior permission of the owners for additional guests, at a cost of $20 per head.
Why pay a fortune on kennel fees when you can bring the dogs with you! Outdoor pets are welcome to stay, but they are not permitted in the home and they must be cleaned up after.

Great little property for our weekend away. House was nice and clean and tidy, ready for us to settle in.Great location to take the boat along and access the water, easy parking for a couple of cars and a boat. Will be sure to return again for another fishing weekend! Thanks for having us!
The house was all we needed. Quick walk across road to locked jetty type marina.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
The accommodation is not situated on the lake as depicted in the picture. In a hot area so days were all 46 degrees the air conditioner did not work resulting in al sleeping on the floor in the lounge, we left a day early as a result.
Our hosts were superb, the location was brilliant, and the property was spacious. Bundalong is such a beautiful spot and we were very lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend.
Having the ability to leave our boat in the water at the Ponderosa boat ramp was definitely the highlight of our stay. Not having to launch and retrieve the boat every day makes for a lovely boating holiday.
The house has most everything we needed and was perfect for 4 of us. Our dog very much enjoyed the large yard.
Thank you
Joy
When we arrived the property had not been cleaned , so we were moved to another property. We had people coming and going all weekend to the other house on the property. People knocking on our door at random times looking for people. All in all very unpleasant and we left a day early. The owner was quite helpful but at the end of the day the place and experience was not up to standard.

Hi Matthew
Once again our sincere apologies that the cleaner overlooked your booking. She was in tears when she realised and was extremely apologetic. As you are aware, we sorted an alternate property for you as quickly as possible which was of a higher standard at no additional cost to you and made every effort possible to rectify your stay. Our neighbours also assisted in helping you as quickly as able.
I have no idea who was knocking on your door at random times. I did have the census people ring me during the time you were at the property but as you were not staying during the census period they did not need to attend the property, but other than that, I cannot explain why a person would knock on a front door to a house!
All the best.
We met up with my parents from interstate.
The house had everything we needed and the yard was great for our dogs.
Just a short walk down the road to the water for fishing. Didn’t catch anything worth keeping but had fun trying.
This was a perfect spot from which to explore the Murray, we water skied and wandered down to float in the Murray.

Great Little Weekender!
We really enjoyed our stay here. If you are looking for a cheap, clean and convenient location for skiing this is the place for you. The house is small but we found it spotlessly clean with comfy beds and couches and a fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor bbq was a handy inclusion. The access to the private boat ramp (literally 50m across the road)made our stay super enjoyable as we could keep our boat moored there and go back to the house for lunch etc. The fully fenced year was great for our dog. Petina and Claude were fantastic hosts too!

great little shack
This place aint five star but it is very comfortable and clean. And great value for money. There's a water front vacant block across the road, with a nice grassy spot to set up for the day with a top little jetty with rubber stops to pull your boat up to. I rate it

Excellent for Pets
Our two families stayed for a skiing weekend with our three dogs and found it perfect. It was right across the road from the boat ramp and had a massive, safely enclosed back yard for the dogs. Everything is available for a comfortable weekend and we found it very clean for a rental. Thanks.

We were really happy with our stay. We loved the house and thought it was perfect for all of us to stay in. The beds were all really comfortable and we liked how the toilet was separate to the bathroom, allowing access at all times.Having a BBQ and the large out door area was great, especially for a larger group it allowed us to spread out an enjoy the outdoor fire. Over all we thought it supplied us with everything that we needed for our weekend stay, heating was beautiful and warm.

We had a great holiday. Everything you need and so close to the water. Being able to leave the boat in the water and go have lunch in air conditioned comfort and then go jump back in the boat was fantastic. It made it easy to also drop little ones off once they had had enough and let the rest keep going without having to pull the boat out or run around with cars. The kids had plenty of space to run around a play while being safe! The owners assisted with everything from takeaway places to first aid supplies - would recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great Xmas Holiday!

I really enjoyed my 2 week stay here. The house has pretty much everything you need and a good yard for the dog. Personally I'd recommend this over the flashier rentals in the area as the cash you save can go thru the boats petrol tank. No better place for wakeboarding than Bundalong. Thx

Great place to stay! Thanks Petina and Claude, u were very kind and welcoming. We loved that the bout ramp was only across the road and it was safe enough to leave our boat in the water over night. Bundalong Hideaway is a nice house to stay in and it was great to have a yard that our dog could run around in and not wonder off. Thanks for giving us the accomidation on such short notice too.Was very relaxing to get away for a 3 day weekend.See you again sometime,Kate & Shawn.
