The family had a great time in Louisville. Amy provided a few great experience recommendations - dinner and brandy tour that we were able to take advantage of even with limited accessibility with Covid.
We loved this location! My husband and I rented the house with our adult daughter and two friends who are on their mid-twenties. They loved being able to walk to so many places and the neighborhood was super cute and welcoming.
Overall experience was absolutely amazing. One improvement would be to somehow make the upstairs door to the bathroom swing open wider…kinda tight. Would recommend this place!
Very close to the Expo center. Older neighborhood with a fun ice cream spot within walking distance. Narrow driveway but parking at the street worked with our trailer. Very clean, very comfortable.
Be aware of steep stairs to the 2nd floor bedroom. Wasn't an issue for us but could be for some. Overall it was perfect!
We loved staying in this home! Check in was so easy - an immediate call back from the home owner and all the instructions I needed. Everything we could ask for was provided and the home was beautifully decorated and clean. We loved the location as it was centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Louisville.
Nice property. Nicely decorated. It was a little cramped for 5 of us but we made it work. Just a friendly suggestion - a notebook of directions for operating the TVs, stores and restaurants in the area would be helpful. The hostess was very friendly and easy to work with.
Charming, great location, close to attractions downtown, clean, owner responsive to questions, a little confusion with outside door lock and downstairs shower but figured it out. Overall our stay was delightful, would use this property again.
This house was great! Very clean and nice inside and out!
The property owner could not of been any nicer than se was. I reached out to her and she replied right away. Very professional. I will definitely stay here again if ever in the area!
A college friend and I (we’re in our 40s) decided to get away from the big city of Chicago and see something new, while being pandemic-responsible and driving to our destination. This home was pristinely clean, with lots of nice updates to the original structure (which is probably 60-70 years old if I were to throw out a guess). It is about 10 minutes’ drive from downtown Louisville, located in in a very friendly neighborhood that leans on the liberal side of things. For us city slickers, that was perfect. But even if you’re not, the neighborhood seems to have a nice mix of all philosophies and persuasions, and the neighbors are all so darned friendly, you can’t help but smile after so many friendly waves and hellos.
The house sleeps 6 in beds (2 queen beds in 2 bedrooms, 2 single beds upstairs in the loft/attic room), or 8 if you also use the couches in the living room. The kitchen is well stocked, so you’ve got pots, pans, utensils, and other accoutrements if you need them. If you plant to cook, bring what food you need, or buy it in town — there are no extra staples laid up in the cupboards. But given pandemic times, that’s a good thing right? Do you want to use someone else’s flour these days? I didn’t think so.
Amy, the owner, was very responsive and helpful—top-notch VRBO provider.
I wholeheartedly recommend this home if you’re planning a Louisville trip. Thank you, Amy!
The property is exactly as pictured. The property is very clean and comfortable, with easy, secure access. The property is centrally located with easy access to downtown, the airport, restaurants, grocery stores, transit lines and freeways. The neighborhood is quiet. Amy is a great host and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. This property is great find! I will book again! Thanks, Amy!
