The Ranch House is a great place for families and small groups looking for a place to relax and be together in a beautiful location. The Ranch House has full length porches both front and back and a large shaded stone patio between the house and pool in a beautiful setting. It has a fully stocked kitchen and a big dining table for you to enjoy meals together. Sit back and relax in front of fire in the large stone fireplace in the living room on the cooler Texas evenings.
This ranch is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We love to share what we love so much; nature, wildlife, dark nights for star gazing, quiet, peaceful, very private and secluded.
We are a working horse ranch with access for our guests to enjoy our miniature horses, Moonshine and Smoky, our miniature donkey, Bella and various farm animals. The ranch is perfectly located halfway between Fredericksburg and Kerrville. Both towns are so great with so much to see and do. We are in the heart of the Texas wine country. Enjoy a wine tour or just go explore and find your favorite special spot. I love the Fredericksburg music scene. On any given night you can find very talented artists at 3 or more venues including the famous town of Luckenbach. The pool is shared with other guests on the ranch from 10am-5pm. It is private to the ranch house guest after 5 and is available all day as well.

Wonderful home for family vacation

The home was very welcoming and so comfortable with wonderful screened in porch in back with a gorgeous pool and bbq pits as well as a big fire pit. We loved the country location and the beautiful horses and ponies and goats. It was an absolutely perfect vacation home.

The countryside location and views (and animals) were highlights. A well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds were appreciated. Dining table big enough for game time. Adding the extra seating at the bar perfectly fit our party of ten. Those big, goofy dogs made me the happiest!

Another wonderful weekend!

This is our second annual girls trip at the ranch and it was fantastic, just like last year! The host is so friendly and so are all the wonderful animals. If you don’t like peacocks, chickens, deer, miniature horses, goats and dogs, this isn’t the rental for you ;) If you do, don’t hesitate to book this amazing home and enjoy beautiful sunsets and an amazing view by the pool! Kerri is a life long horse lover, rider and professional horse behavior specialist.
When she isn't tending to her many responsibilities as a ranch and BnB owner, you will find her in the barn with one of the 8 horses that call, Wolf Creek Guest Ranch their home.
When you are driving to the ranch through the beautiful neighborhood of big ranches and the neighboring exotic ranch, you will often see Kerri or a member of her family riding a horse or taking a walk with various ranch animals.
She is a trained, Orton Gillingham language therapist and on the founding faculty of several camps and schools , across the country, specifically for dyslexic children.
Wolf Creek Guest Ranch was home to a 5 week boarding camp for dyslexic students for it's first 3 years before the Ranch BnB became a full time business.
With Kerri's passion for horses, family and friends, developing a BnB to share her interests was a very natural fit.

Why they chose this property

We are always busy, maintaining and developing the BnB to be the best, most unique rental in Fredericksburg and the surrounding Hill Country. We have so much to work with here, being a working horse ranch and having a really fun Pony Petting Pasture where guest can interact with our miniature horses, Smoky and Rowdy and our cute goats, Goaty and Rosy.
You will enjoy beautiful views here and incredible sunset and sunrises!! We are a dark sky community with an amazing night sky. The stars are so bright that you feel like you can just reach out and touch them. It is also great to be able to see the Milky Way on most nights.
Abundant wildlife can be seen and enjoyed that call this ranch their home. We have White Tail deer, Axis deer, jack rabbits, all kinds of critters and birds as well as fox and coyotes.
We have a catch and release fishing pond, complete with resident ducks and various other water fowl that come for a drink and a meal.
Walking the rural roads is both safe, due to dead end ranch roads and beautiful. I personally try to walk every day and ofter take a horse along with me for exercise or training.

What makes this property unique

The Guest Lodge has a lovely pool for your summertime vacations and a huge outdoor fire pit and huge, indoor, stone fireplace for the winter vacations. The Lodge also has a full kitchen, and large open living, dinning area along with full porches, both front and back. The back porch is full screened in with comfortable rocking chairs and dining tables and chairs.
From the back porch, you will have access to the huge shaded patio that leads out the outdoor pool with the best views in the Hill Country.
The patio has a charcoal grill along with tables, chairs and hammocks for the entire group. It is an amazing area that you are sure to enjoy and may never want to leave.
For those wanting a little more activity, the Lodge also has a ping pong table, horse shoes, and a corn hole game.
As a guest you will also have access to the Pony Petting Pasture with Smoky and Rowdy loving your attention. The playful goats, Goaty and Rosy are also lots of fun to pet and brush.
It's alway nice to get outside for a little walk, down to the catch and release fishing pond complete with resident ducks, wildlife and a canoe to paddle around on.
