Cottage 79 is a beautifully renovated Circa 1880 cottage combining the modern facilities of today with the charm of yesteryear. It is self serviced, nestled within the heritage walk, conveniently located, just a short stroll from historical Duntryleague Golf Club, Cook Park, Orange CBD, boutique cafes and many fine restaurants. Prices quoted are a maximum indication only. Rates are based on the number of bedrooms required rather than a per person basis and provision for a generous light breakfast is included. There is a minimum 2 night stay. Midweek corporate rates are available. All enquiries welcome. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and is not suitable for children.

Escape and relax by the fire in the comfortable sitting room, equipped with a stereo and flat screen TV. The two bedroom cottage contains a King size bed in one room and Queen in the other. The bathroom is a stylish light design with under floor heating. Cottage 79 has ceiling fans, air-conditioning and double glazed windows for your comfort. The kitchen/laundry is separate from the dining room with French doors opening to a spacious outdoor patio complete with BBQ facilities and private garden.

Off street parking is available for one vehicle

Cottage 79 provides everything you need for your well deserved break and is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

Orange is only 3 hrs from Sydney and 3.5 hrs from Canberra

Atmospheric cosy cittage

Really lovely tasteful cottage in perfect location with easy access to central Orange. Very comfortable and and a well fitted out kitchen. We highly recommend this cottage.

A great Bathurst Races Weekend

A very nice place to stay, close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Everything was lovely, clean and welcoming. The house held its warmth and the fireplace was wonderful.

Very impressed

Cottage 79 was just perfect. It has been tastefully renovated and has everything for a comfortable stay. The external part of the property is also guaranteed to provide for a peaceful and comfortable holiday. I was also impressed by the ease in which the home was heated for the cold Orange mornings. Is definitely on my list for a return visit.

cottage 79

Inside was very good. Very comfortable bed & very clean bathroom. It was disappointing however to arrive & be confronted by 2 very large pots of DEAD flowers at the front door. Not welcoming. Also it took us fully 5 minutes to get the key to open the front door - that needs to be fixed urgently. These things really ruin your reputation & are unfortunate if you are advertising the property as 5 star rating.

We have just had an amazing week the cottage was very warm and cosy and beautifully furnished through out with quality bedding and towels . Very comfy beds . Spotless clean . Thank you to host Liddy & Gordon for the delicious treats and supplies on arrival and keeping in touch with us to make sure our stay was perfect . Looking forward to a return trip in the near future .

Cottage 79 Orange

We absolutely loved our time in this beautifully restored and styled cottage. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre. The hospitality provided by our hosts was exceptional and the cottage has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. We really loved the outdoor setting as well. A perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and a few nibbles! Thank you Liddy and Gordon for a memorable family holiday.

Superb stay

From the moment we pulled up at 79 Hill street we knew this would be a memorable stay. The cottage was all we could have hoped for as we gathered for our extended family Christmas in Orange. Stylishly decorated with delightful Christmas touches, thoughtfully equiped with all the appliances and products we could need and generously stocked with champagne, fruit, bread etc we immediately relaxed into a delightful stay we will long treasure. It was hard to leave, and the late check out was very much appreciated as we said our farewells ahead of the return trip down the Lachlan Valley Way. Sincere thanks to kind and generous hosts Liddy and Gordon.

A lovely comfortable cottage, near the centre of everything

The cottage is quaint and beautifully renovated. We were extremely comfortable and able to share a pre-wedding catch up with a couple of fellow guests who were staying opposite at de Russie. It made for a lovely, friendly and relaxing weekend. Liddy left us some very thoughtful touches in the kitchen which added to the welcome we felt as we settled in.

Perfection

Cottage 79 is such a delightful cottage We found it so homely cosy & simply very relaxing Beautifully decorated We especially loved the fireplace & the comfy king size bed with lovely linen just made for a wonderful sleep. It's so close to the main township of Orange close to some lovely wine bars and fine dining restaurants We really had a wonderful time here A lovely special anniversary weekend We have already decided that we will return to this very lovely cottage in Orange Thank you Alan & Michelle for sharing your beautiful little piece of paradise with us.

Beautiful cottage stay in Orange

We came to Orange for the Apple Festival in early May, which was really enjoyable. Cottage 79 was fantastic, beautifully appointed, even better than the photos, the garden in particular was a highlight. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Alan was a very welcoming host. We really enjoyed our stay - the location right in the middle of Orange was perfect. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Orange.

Gorgeous Cottage and perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cottage 79. Alan and Michelle went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had a great stay in Orange. They have done an incredible job with renovating the Cottage and we were simply in awe. Despite Orange snowing over the weekend the cottage remained very warm and we hardly felt the cold (not to mention the heated tiles in the bathroom were a true delight!). We will definitely be recommending Cottage 79 to our friends and family!

Cosy yet stylish

Cosy,comfortable yet stylish cottage a few minutes walk from the main street of Orange. This gorgeous cottage is beautifully appointed with great attention to detail to ensure you enjoy your stay. The garden is an added bonus as its just a delightful space. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the owner who had the fire blazing to ensure the cottage was warm and cosy. There was fresh milk and bread in the well stocked kitchen and lovely complimentary toilettries in the bathroom. The heated floor and towel rail in the bathroom made it extra nice and the shower head and water pressure were excellent. It is very obvious that Alan and Michelle really care about their guests having a great experience - we definitely will be back .
